Best way to use kief / pollen

So I've recently upgraded my grinder to a 4-part (about time!) so I've got a nice kief collection going.
My plan was just to sprinkle some on top of dry herb (using a convection vape) but wondered if anyone here had any better suggestions...
Is there a more approprate way to use or a better type of vaporizer?

For a while a grower friend was giving me big bags of trim from his excellent plants, from which I would get literally piles of trichomes/kief. I found that rather than sprinkling a little on a lot of bowls or in my case in a lot of dosing caps, that I preferred saving it for special occasions. I tried pure kief bowls/dosing caps, but they tend to leak too many bits into the vape, clogging screens, dirtying vape insides and fouling water. So the best I found is the sandwich: A little layer of ground flower, a big layer of kief, and then another thin layer on top. Makes for a lovely time!

I'm pretty lazy so I just sprinkle it on my dry herb (that sandwich idea @Polarbearboy mentioned sounds awesome though). I have a friend that uses a press to make kief discs and he adheres to that religiously so there must be something to it.

I use it in a solo,nano,lsv,air,dynavap and a woodscents......just don't pack it too tight and it works great.

That’s what I do with it. Topper for flower load. Just like putting back what was knocked off by the grinder.

I just tried some kief on flower in my Solo. Then I tried keif on a bed of flower in my Air. Then in my Solo with a water piece, then the Air with a waterpiece. It was all good. It was all very good. I still have a toothache, but I have regained my will to live. Very good indeed. If there is a better method, I'd be interested, but right now it's so easy, and works so well, that I'd have to overcome Big Lazy tendencies to change anything up. I mean, why?

That will require defeating the Super Sloth.

O.K. did that. It took one Solo stem, and I'm where I was with four before. It took more clean-up in the form of swiping my @Ed's TnT Blackwood stem with a Q-tip. I can't say it was even any effort compared to dumping ABV. About the same, which is nothing to speak of. I bow to your wisdom, @arb. Good advice. It didn't even require defeating the sloth, as much as stepping over him.

Make a bed of fluffy organic Raspberry leaf's Generously garnish with sprinklings of keif and serve in an 18-14 adapter. Lightly vaped with a splendid device - The G-43, This little beast can take you from fine upstanding citizen. Then work it into a loaf shape. I then score along the center of it and across multiply times. Then it breaks up eazy and i can place a tiny peace in my vapcap's

Are there any benefits of pressing into hash? (apart from storing or transporting it) If it's going to be broken up again, why not just leave it in a loose powder state?

One other of my fav's is to empty keif onto some parchment paper, fold it and place it under a cut of steaming tea. Then work it into a loaf shape. I then score along the center of it and across multiply times. Then it breaks up eazy and i can place a tiny peace in my vapcap's

+1 for occasionally sandwiching kief between layers of ground herb. Love the added sweetness and how much longer that sweetness lasts. Not to mention the added buzziness....

There are those who feel that saving kief by using a grinder with a bottom sieve/screen that separates some of the kief from the ground herb is almost blasphemy because it reduces the strength of the herb. These folks are purists or have a fairly high tolerance or both. I don't disagree but my tolerance isn't that strong and I occasionally like the feeling of a more decadent, herbal treat.

I also like a keif catcher. I don't notice the lessened strength from the ground matter, and I get keif. Love that. It's like a painless way to save. I'm also not going to buy keif, so if I don't do this, I don't have that. Doesn't bother me a bit if someone doesn't like having a screen. I can't imagine why anyone would cars if I do, but I sure don't want to upset anyone over it.

How / why would a three-piece grinder preserve the kief on the flower vs a 4 piece grinder? The same question restated: Why would a 4 piece grinder knock the kief off the flower?

3 pc grinders don't use a kief screen, the herb goes straight from the grinder to the collection plate. Kief still falls off, but its easily added back to your bowl as its not sifted into a separate chamber.

I'm not a big fan of sifting the good stuff out with my grinder, if kief was more popular I would just vape that over flower. It's naturally concentrated, doesn't need grinding, true full spectrum, and has much less inactive plant material per gram, so less inhalations are required to reach the desired results.

I tried using the flower-kief-flower sandwich way, it's easy, but the problem is that the kief powder was still clogging up my screen very quickly. So I pressed it into hash using the parchment paper/clothes iron technique and cut it into small morsels. It’s a little extra work but using it this way works better for my particular situation.

Cool! There are probably many ways to do it, but this is the way I tried. I may have used a bit too high an iron setting or ironed it too long but it still came out okay.
