Best way to smoke hash

I've got some hash lined up for tonight, about 3 grams of it.
Is it best to put it into a joint/blunt or attempt to vaporize it in a crack pipe..?
I have both options at my disposal due to a colorful variety of friends. I want the cleanest, most pure way to take it all in. Obviously sticking it in my vape is not an option as far as I know..

Can you dab it with a torch and nail. It's still vaporising! Otherwise perhaps a herb and hash sandwich might work in one if your vapes. The Solo can handle hash but I think there are better options. I don't own an Extreme Q or Firefly so I'm not sure how effective they might be. I would avoid combustion at all costs personally.

Organic cotton in your vape can also be an option if your hash doesn't turn too liquid once hot.

I bet it would work great broken up into small pieces on top of a bed of bud, or cotton, in either of your vapes.

I drop it right onto a stove and inhale trough a broken bong top with a perc (smth like pinnacle WT) IF you have smth like that.. otherwise stick to the crackpipe.. just don't forget to put a screen in the mouthpiece so things don't run into your mouth

You could also do hot knives. I'm so stupid. Prior to 2013 my sole way of getting high for at least 2 years straight was hot kniving hash. Gas stoves are great. At the time I thought of it as combusting but thinking back I would say I combusted a lot and sometimes got a light sizzle which I imagin produced vapor. At the time I didn't know what vaporising was so I can't actually say for sure. If you are prepared to smoke it anyway it might be worth a try. Check out YouTube for techniques.

Considering the harshness of that small joint I just had with hash.. I'll stick to the crack pipe for this one. haha
I'll also do a herb-hash sandwhich when I get some decent weed. The indica I have at the moment isn't worth vaping

You can try some hash +herb sandwich.. something like fresh "teas" like mint,damiana,etc.. My favorite is hash + blue lotus.. but its a bit rare to buy from normal tea shops. I rarely vape weed + hash cause its too terpy for me.. essentials get to irritating levels .. i prefer to lay it on a ABV bed .. also seems to make less mess (condensations) at with fresh herb mixes

I have some blue lotus actually! I'll try that in my vape with a bit of hash.
Also as of a few mins ago I can say that hash in the crack pipe was great. Glad I don't have to combust it and let it go to waste.

I just hit some in my oil pipe too , cheers.. Love that piney aroma.. I enjoy eating it even more..
I mix it with some olive oil(15-30 mins on low fire) and injest it either straight or layed on smth .. i do that too with my abv oil ... gets your ass kicked too

I don't know what's your tollerance but half gram gets me horizontal

I'm from a place where middle eastern import hash is the most available form of cannabis, so I'm using the following method for my Pinnacle Pro, and I suspect this will work with several other vapes.

I wrap the hash in RAW papers and put in in the PnP bullet, crank up the heat and vape away

The kind of hash I've got access to is not full melt, and getting the sticky gunk out after vaping is a lot harder than just dunking out spent herb. That is why I wrap it in papers, plus it makes sure the hash doesn't bubble up to much and gunk your screens. Good "old school" hash bubbles quite a bit.

Oh absolutely, but what I meant is most us average herb smokers and our experiences. I remember seeing hookahs when I was in high school, we never used tin foil and the coconut charcoal to vaporize, we would load it up with herb and light it on fire like a bong. It was only in the past few years I actually experienced how to really use a hookah. But when I introduce people to vaporizing and they say they never did it before I ask them if they ever used hot knives with hash. Most people have and then in fact, they have vaporized.

Not sure what type, it's just a 4g ball of cargo-green gunk. It sticks to my fingers but also falls apart and can be cut/torn a bit. A bit of plant matter in it but mainly oils I believe. It's good!

You really aught to try it at least once if you never have, they hit hard. Word to the wise though, be very careful with your lips. I couldn't for the life of me come up with a reasonable story to explain why my lip was burned, luckily nobody asked me in the few weeks it took to heal.

Use knives that you don't care much about because they will be ruined afterwards. We would always slip the knives between the coils of a stovetop on high and let them heat up that way. Or just use a torch if you have one.

Make little pieces of hash as big as you think your lungs can take, line them up on a upside-down plate and just lightly tap the piece of hash with the tip of one knife and then press them together and suck the vapour back. It takes a little practice to get the technique down but it's not that difficult. I would usually wait until the blades just stopped glowing and I'd get mostly vapour with a trace of combustion sometimes. I even had a friend once who would do hot knives with little pieces of bud all the time. It's very harsh on your throat but it get you medicated quickly and the leftovers often looked more like dark ABV than ash from combustion.

I really wish I had some hash right now.....
