Best way to recover residue in extreme q tubes?

I have an extreme q vaporizer and after a month of use the elbow and the platstic tubing has a build up of brown goo. I would imagine this could be recovered and used again if some was put on top of some bud. How can I get it out and be able to use it afterwards(I don't want to clean it out with chemicals that would prevent its use later)? What are some ways you guys use this with your vapes?

i believe there is already a thread about this. It wouldn't be to hard to find. I wouldn't be surprised to find it 'stickied' to the top of the General Vaporization Discussion section.
