Allright Fc I need y'all help in me choosing my 1st vape. Going 2 order this week as long as sandy don't blow my house away. My vape will be 90% water pipe usage but I would love to take it on the go and also I won't be the only one using it daily so i can't just get a vhw. I've done a decent of searching on these incredibly resourceful forums but am still kinda stumped. Not really a price range gonna try to stay under 220 thou and idk I feel the solo is my
Best bet but like the lsv. A log vape would be cool I guess but I hear hi has a waiting list. I guess underdog would be worth a look idk though not to intrigued on log bapes anyway

Any help and info is much appreciated an thanks in advance fellas

puffitup.com has the solo for $160 shipped.

If you aren't set on the portable route, I love my DBV. You said you're not the only one using it? The DBV is a very good social vape. It just hits hard and gives great clouds, so smokers are very satisfied with it. The stigma about it is that the learning curve is steep, but I've had first timers use mine very well as long as I explained the slow draw to them.

The Solo or the log vape has the added advantage of allowing you to much easily save your herbs, when compared to a lsv or a dbv but any of them is a good choice.

You can get a Solo and a water adapter and you can use it inside or on the go, but it is not that stealthy and it is quite bulky. This would be my choice if you wanted to just buy one vaporizer but still want portability. Or the INH, although i don't have one.

If not i would get two, one to keep inside and a stealthy portable for the outside. In that case i would get either an LSV or a log, either pair very well with a bong. And then i would get a PAX or a MFLB for a more discreet experience.

Thanks for the info man, I am not able to get two at the moment, I'd like to get 1 now and attempt to save for a vxc. Stealth isn't a must and I want the vape to be good side of saving herbs so. I hear the solo isn't the best on waterpipes cuz of restricted air flow. But id sacrifice that if I can take it out w me to friends house, partys, hotels vacation etc

Oh and would a log vape be good for me? They can be used w a stem
Too correct?

Many users have a good experience using the Solo with the gong adapter to use with water, despite the restricted air flow. :)

A log is close to the Solo in terms of saving but its better, as is the taste. The downside is the fact that it is not portable, although it is quite small. But its more easily paired with a bong, i have a WW and i just insert the stem in my 14mm diffuser.

Alright that's reassuring about the solo. I think I'd eliminate the lsv now plus I was never too siked on the exposed heating but w.e. Are logs just as good w taste and work well w.o water filt? That's the other 10% of usage and Another person in the house will be using it w.o water pipe. Also what is the best log for under 200?

Well the best one would probably be the heat island... but there's a pretty big lineup already. The Solo functions just as well as any log does; and is probably your best option.

Does anyone own a solo? I see there's one in your sig. The wate pipe usage on the solo is better then most and better than the Eq in terms taste and thickness? I hear running a vtower thru a water pipe just makes the vape stale w the long tubing so I've shied away. Nt really trying to wait for a hi either and I don't think the lsv is worth 200 it's a hakko w a eater cover that's like 60$ right there

7th Floor doesn't use soldering iron elements. They use the best quality ceramic element in the vape industry in all their models.

Yep I have one and its taken the place of dedicated vapbonger in my lineup. The water pipe usage is exceptional with the Solo, I have affectionally termed it the "mini cloud" because it whitewalls a tube even thicker than the cloud can. Of course, the cloud lets you rip until you pass out and still get clouds so it still wins, but what I`m trying to say here is; Yes, the Solo is a great Vape Bonger, Probably the best you can get without dropping 500 on a cloud.

Actually Max, I think that the elements used by 7th Floor and Hakko are extremely similar. Not saying they arent worth their money or anything but Hakko also uses the best elements that can be had as well so they are still quite comparable. 7th Floor keeps claiming they have patented their own custom element but I cant find that patent anywhere. Though if someone else can, Ill eat my words gladly.

The taste is still pretty damn good; the vapor path is all glass. It all depends on how you hit it; high temps taste bad through any vaporizer.

That is a matter of intense debate. Yes; the electronics are not completely sequestered from the airpath; but at the same time, we dont know if the air actually gets pulled through there directly or not. The heating element is free of any electronics near it though, and that is the part that matters since cold air wont take on anywhere near as much out gassed material than heated air. In my opinion it is a non issue now that Arizer has gotten their act together and gotten rid of the Robo-Fart smell.

Since one is for soldering and the other is in a vapor path, I would hope there's a difference. As for judging them on the basis of someone saying ours is the best, I don't put much stock in that. Neither do I agree that a stripped down soldering iron is equivalent to the LSV, and I'm not even a big fan of that model.

Salutations Max,

...I would hope there's a difference.

It's a bit surprizing to find that 210+ brands/models later such a fundamental matter still remains unclear for some part, isn't it?...

;)

Centizen wrote about "customization", i think that could very well happen to be one key and no vaporizer manufacturer needs to build every single part starting from thin air by the way: all we ask them is to offer us well thought products which reliably deliver the expected performance, etc.

:peace:

That is a trick question since, with vapor, there are better water pipes to use with less volume that don't hinder the flavour as much. With combustion, a lot of volume and bubble formation is a good thing because of the smoke. None of this is needed with vapor.

There are too many options to tell you the best just with that bong in mind. Anthing from 7th floor, VXC, VHW, Verdamper, Herborizer, and any log will work very well.

From the portables, you can use the Solo and the INH.

To be honest, all of them work, including many i did not mention. Some just work better than others.

Yea that was my best bubble stack by far and the quality of vid sucks but yea I aunderstand a smaller tube would be much better but it's all the glass I have till Xmas. I think I'm gonna go with a solo, if it's as nice on a water pipe as ppl mention I should be satisfied and I'll love to take it on the go. A VHw would be awesome my piece though

I'm really torn with what my next vape is going to be myself so I love these threads. I'm in no rush, just kinda keeping ym eye ont hings and when money's good and the time is right, I'll pick up my next piece of equipment.

I love my DBV and have no interest in replacing it, but I'd like something more portable. LSV and Solo are very likely among the next two vapes I buy. I am thinking of saving up and getting a PAX as well, but I have a puffit already so if I really need meds in a discreet pinch the option is there.

There were some trouble with Solo's and other vaporizers like the NO2 in ebay and amazon because they are not authorized sellers, don't know about being fakes but some of them were returned units that had problems already.

Hash builds up in any part where vapour goes through. Glass stems in the Solo being all glass are better to collect hash than other parts and other vaporizers.
