I am new to vapes and the maintence behind the, but am looking at picking one up in the near future. I am looking for one that would best fit what I need, a vape that has to be able to be used in a car. With the little bit of research Ive done Ive found that I must either go portable, or run a wall adapter car charger. I dont want to spend more than 150 dollars as this is my first vape, and a learning curve will be applied.

Sounds like another candidate for the Purple Days family, the vape is $150, it requires a 30 ( 45 is better ) minute warm up time, but it is designed to be run 24/7 and costs around $7 to run all year ( may vary in your area ).

It comes with a car adapter so its really easy to take it already warmed up out into the car, plug in the adapter and vape away.

You have few options.... either a flame based unit such as the VaporGenie vaporizer pipe (~50) / Vapman vaporizer portable unit (~150) or a Purple-Days unit (~150) which runs off electricity (kit comes with car adapter).

The Iolite, formerly known as the Iinhale, is a bit over your budget here, but could prove to be a valuable investment.

Alternatively, if you want to get a desktop unit, that could hypothetically be ran in your car, but utilizes glass pieces and isn't exactly discrete, the VaporCannon by VaporWarez might be something to look into....

Choices, choices...... :p

The VaporBat, if I remember right.

I've heard mixed things about it. Searching around is bound to pull up some info here. :)

oh man, the pd is awesome for cars, half my D&D party are stoners, and i just leave it plugged in in the one guys car, then on a break we go out and vape a couple bowls apiece
im pretty sure it gets warmer on the car battery

The VaporBat is designed to be used with a car cig lighter, so that would be the low priced way to go.

I like using whip based vapes in the car, they only use a small inverter. My SSV has traveled the west coast with me!

I think the silver surfer might be a little bit to conspiscious for me. But... maybe. So the pd it is?

The PD is an awesome road machine, I've taken it on a few trips with me. I hate taking most of my vaporizers out of the house, I'm so paranoid about breaking them. With the PD, there is no worry. Hell, even if it somehow got dropped out the window at 60mph, it would probably still work.

my pd goes on every roadtrip that i do, i accidently dropped it in the mud the other day, wiped it off, and went on my way.

I use my HappyVappy with a converter. Warm up time in about 3 minutes, so no long wait. Looks very innocuous when inhaling (looks like some kind of travel mug). A little out of your price range, tho (~$170 on sale).
