Best scoop for ground herb?

I also have a comical amount of scoops. I don't even really buy them, they just get thrown in with stuff.
I have a proper set that I got a good 5-6 years ago from DDave. Never use them, they spoons are too deep to be useful with a vape.
I have one of the SQPs:
It's useful with a big ball wide ball vape bowl, and you can get a pretty consistent amount without having to weigh it. It's not much good for anything else. No magnet bugs me, it's such an easy inclusion.
I also have the Mini SQP
Again, no magnet. But it's more than "bugs me" in this case, cos it's tiny - you really want to be able to put this on your magnet stand or Reload or something. It's the only scoop I've found that's suitable for an Anvil/Dani, but I don't know that it's easier than using natures scoop (ie. your fingers.)
And then, I have this:
This is obviously really similar to the vapefiend one, and it's probably my favourite/the one I use most. These things fit the S&B bowls perfectly, and as I've gone away from dosing caps over the last couple of months this scoop has become one of the first things I grab when I'm leaving the house. It also has a magnet!

Personally I like that the mini SQP is not magnetic so it doesn’t get attracted to the center post of my grinder, but that’s me.
I have also found you can lie the mini SQP horizontally in the groove of the Reload 2 very nicely, and if you have it set up like that you can see the smiley face most of the time

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I like the scoop on one side and tamp on the other design. Right now the RWW mini plastic one works fine. I do like the look of the SS design, but since I want to keep it in the same pouch I worry the metal will scratch the wood on my FW9.
They seem to be mass produced and re-branded. If I bought one it would be this Amazon version for $20

Dank Stop glass scoop only purchased to get free shipping ($12?), vintage buffalo horn caviar spoon, cheapo Temu ss spoon, pink quartz spoon purchased today ($2), vintage Erik Steiff pewter spoon ($10 w/glass lined pewter bowl):
I'd do a lead test on that pewter. Modern pewter has a different makeup, but that might contain it since it's "vintage".
I'm real happy for the results in this thread. I've been using a DIY scooper made from an old gift card, cut to size and folded lengthwise. Then lately it hit me how utterly moronic that is, given concerns about microplastics and such.
I've switched to using the Delta3D nylon scoop and scraper tool, which is very nice but sometimes hard to load without spilling. But that also is made of plastic so I've been on the hunt for something metal.
Artisan metal scoops are hilariously overpriced, but I'll definitely be buying the mass produced versions on Amazon with some of these nice links provided and upgrade the safety of my process.

If there are any of the Delta3d ones left at vpm then it's your best chance to get one that's well priced but not mass produced.

I ended up going with this one and am thrilled with it. Love how the shape makes transferring ground herb from my OMD grinder to storage containers a mess free breeze. That alone is a huge life upgrade.

Actually also got that SQP from Amazon, the mini one, only $16 on prime day, they are still on sale today too, but not quite as low now

I'm still absolutely thrilled with my stainless steel amazon scoop. I prefer the design and material and process to make over the delta scoops.
Why on earth would you go for nylon in something like this when metal exists? The tiny black scoop I got from delta for free in an order does work nicely as a scoop, but I'm just trying to remove as much plastic from the process as possible. Scraping the scoop across surfaces seems like a good way to get bits of plastic in your herb.

I don't really like using metal on metal? Feels like I have to be more careful... And I really like the lightweight nylon, not to mention the shape of the scoops... No one else does it like Delta 3D this way
Nylon is different than other plastic though, what exactly is the free little black scoop you got? Are you sure it is nylon, and not the cheaper soda bottle plastic grinder scoop that is available?? I have both, and that one, I would not use...
Why would you be scraping it across surfaces? I don't see why in normal use it would be getting anything into your herb at all, the nylon is much higher quality than that, and the use is scooping herbs from a smooth surface so...?
If anything I see the reverse, what is happening, is tiny particles of herb, fusing to the nylon, so it cannot be fully cleaned the way a steel scoop can be cleaned? So I don't feel like the nylon is tainting the herb, if anything the herb is tainting the nylon lol
Edit to Add: forgot to mention, forgot but it sounds familiar, and Mike just told me, that the nylon is in fact a glass infused nylon being 3D printed so especially much nicer than any regular plastic or even nylon

Just had a bit of a yikes moment with it, and haven't used it since.
You are correct that it gets gunked up with herb powder and resin fairly quickly, which acts as a natural coating. We have different use cases and I feel better about a stainless steel scoop. Plus I really love that scoop I bought for other reasons. It's so perfect for scooping from the OMD grinder.

Yeah, so, as I said and suspected, that one that you have there is not the nylon... That is cheap basic plastic, imo nowhere near the quality of the glass infused 3D printed nylon scoops... Also I do not use grinders with any screens like that, only three pieces for me personally (BCG and OMD) Yeah that was a classic thing for people to do scraping plastic on those screens for kief back in the day, yuck!
I will say that the nylon does not get gunked up with powder like other plastic though, much better than that in that way too, but still happens and cannot be cleaned in the same way a metal one or even glass can be, although it can still be cleaned a bit more gently, though I have never needed to...
Yeah I do think I would like to get the larger SS scoop size from Amazon, and it does seem to go great with OMD, I think metal on metal is much nicer when it's stainless steel in both cases (all my BCG are aluminum)
Anyway my main point was not really about different use cases though, and even regardless of metal vs plastic in general, I just wanted to clarify that you don't actually have any experience with the high quality nylon scoops I was referring to here and highly recommending as my choice
