Hi from france guys ! Long Time no see!
I'm a convinced vaporist and happy owner of a Vapor genie , a purple day (as my everyday Vap) and an herborizer XL (sphere , hose , and Bong !!!) wich is my favorite but i need to sell it.
I 'm moving in with my "fiance" . She has 2 crazy fucked up cats ,and i know the all-glass design wont survive these beasts (so much electric wire and hose to play with).

So i'm looking for a less breackable unit wich could provide me "tasty/cloudy almost herborizer hit" from buds, hash possibility is a true +.
Last time i checked for a vaporizer to buy was in late 2009.
I think the da buddah is the best choice for me :
- heater more protected by the unit than ssv
- i'm not interested in balloons so i don't want to pay it in an extrem Q .
- I could get a vapor tammer or a bubbler with the extra money from the herbo.
- I tried it once and i must say i was impressed : for this price , it almost seem like a better deal than the herborizer to me.
But as i said , i last checked in 2009, so maybe there is news exciting stuff around here. Did i miss something or the Da Buddah is THE VAPE TO GET for me?

Cheers.

Really the Da Buddha sounds like a great choice for your needs. It's definitely made to last through the abuse of some feline friends and the padded storage bag would help keep it protected. You could buy a water pipe adapter and get your vapor filtered through water. It's hands free, which is awesome for the price. I feel that you cannot go wrong with anything from 7th Floor.

Thx Vapor Nation!
After a hours spent on the forum, 2 other vapes catch my attention :
The lsv and the cloud who both have an almost all glass airpath. I wonder if these pieces could provide thick, huge and flavored cloud of Vapor as my herbo did, or if the da buddah still the perfect balance between strongness and quality Vapor. Sounds like it s gonna end with a da buddah with a Vapor tammer...;)

The LSV is like DBV, same heating elements and all, but I am partial to no plastic tubing in the vaporpath so I would have to choose LSV between those two.
The cloud is not available now, and probably not for a decent while longer, its up to you whether you want to hold your breath for this one, though its sure to give great results!!

I understand your point, but honestly if it s the same heating element and all , i'll stick with the Da Buddah and keep the extra money for pieces of glass( maybe i can even find out a way to have an "easy to hold" 100% glass airpath in addition). I often used the silicone tube for the herborizer sphere and loved the hookah thing(watching a good movie or to share it with friends).
I don't want to pay a 100 bucks more for a recoated Da Buddah. I could find a nice bong or bubbler or have 10years warranty instead.
Can't we just adjust the lsv wand to the Da Buddah?

Why don't they sale solid stand in the package for the LSV?? Wich could allow to put it in 3 positions: horizontal; vertical and 45 angle.... I would not hesitate a single second.

The idea of the unit directly on the table waitin for a cat attack make me think twice too .

You can use LSV heater cover on dbv :) .. I think DBV will be just a bit heavy to hang on the water pipe if not attached elsewhere.. Also i have to add that i paid twice the price of the dbv in replacement heater covers and wands ,gong adapters.. etc... And water pipes are just as fragile as the herborizer :) .. So if you haven't sold yet .. the Herbo .. i think it is best that you just get a nice protection case or keep it in some stash away from pets.
DBV replacement HC runs bout 30-40 $
DBV wand + whip + mouthpiece 30-40 $

So Potato,

I am french and even more a Parisian!
I could give you some few indications if you need them, as we are THE exclusive french 7th floor distributor, though we have many brands, including Sbastien's babies (Herborizer).
Send me an MP if you need any advice, but I must say Abysmal's advice is quite good IMO!

;)

They say they are safe.. But for me they need too much washing and caring .. so they do not get contaminated or smth .. Also even with a percolated bonging i could still feel the taste of the 10 cm tubing i was using :) .. LOL.. That might just be my jedi senses ..
