Best portable vape for the long run.

Hello FC, I'm new to the forum however I have browsed around looking for the best portable vape but it seems the more I read about it the more confused I am about which one to choose. I'm currently in between Pinnacle pro, Pax and the MFLB and possibly the Ascent if it weren't for the offgassing issue I've read about.

Anyway, I'm inclined towards the Pnp for now I just wanted to know does it smell like the Pax presumably does? Thing is I live with my folks so I can't risk having a device lying around that reeks of pot.

Also I'm in India so I don't want to buy a certain vape and run into issues which I probably can't even get replaced within warranty because of my location. I know Pax requires frequent cleaning which I could manage if it were more durable compared to the Pnp in the long run. So far I've only heard good things about MFLB's long term use, but I really don't want to carry around a bunch of batteries in my pocket.

So, which would be the better choice for me considering that I probably can't take advantage of the warranty on any of the device I'm left with choosing the one known to be the most durable for heavy every day use.

Also I'm assuming the chargers are of 110v to 220v.

If those are the only ones you are considering, then you have to go with the MFLB based on your needs, the other 3 have all had problems. I would also suggest you widen your choices and consider the arizer solo.

I'm gonna suggest you look into the solo,it's a little bulky compared to some but works great.

Also if you have time check out the lotus section of the forum,it requires a butane torch but works like a charm,it is built well and because of its design you don't inhale any burnt butane fumes

Arizer solo looks pretty good but it is a bit bulky, I'll need it to fit in my pockets to carry around.

Given that you'd prefer not to carry around spare batteries, and that you want a reliable vape that won't need replacement parts anytime soon, and that you would prefer a vape smaller than the Solo that fits easily in your pocket - I'm going to throw another vaporiser into the mix:

I really think the Vapman could be what you're looking for. Its simple but high quality construction means it doesn't really require much maintenance, and it's not going to break down on you either. It's very discreet to carry around and can be hidden by your hand when taking a toke.

I'd say go for the Solo. They are cheap, easy to find and work very well. The only parts that can 'expire' are replaceable as well. Also super durable.

There's only a best for your particular wants or needs. Any battery operated model is eventually going to need new bats, so user replaceable would be a requirement for me. I have iolites that have been working for 6 years so it wouldn't bother me a bit to rely on that one. Flame powered vapes obviously will be the most reliable. You have to balance convenience and stealth against reliability and make your decision based on what's most important to you.

I guess it seems the best one for me would be the MFLB, I could get a couple extra batteries should last me a day.

I've never vaped before, how is vaping a trench on the MFLB compared to say a joint? I usually end up smoking 3 or 4 joints a day and the weed we get here is brick weed pretty shitty but there are a few occasional decent batches.

Are you looking into making your own shatter? weed oil? It could be better than the bunky stuff bro.

If you do choose to refine your weed I think that may change your options. I don't know the specifics of any of those vapes.

I'm a beginner and do it with a clearomizer/battery combo.

Considering your usage and quality, the LB may not be ideal for you, but as long as you can get batteries you should have a working vape. For good hits you need to grind (dry) bud to a fine consistency. There is a learning curve since battery charge capacity is a factor, both for a session and the life of the particular battery. The LB will require more from you (including patience) than most other portables, but unless you ruin the screen it won't quit on you.

The brick weed I get is pretty dry and most of it easily crumbles into very fine grind without much effort. I did look into some covers to hold the batteries and it doesn't seem that big of a drawback. I did watch quite a few videos on MFLB initially about the techniques to get a good vape I guess that's something I'll learn with first hand experience.

In that case, I agree with others here - the Solo would seem to be a good buy for you. I know you said you wanted something smaller, but it's probably smaller than you imagine - I know I was surprised when I received mine - despite having seen videos of it before.

Also, if anyone has any experience vaping brick weed, does it still have a good flavor to it?

The flavour you get with the solo is true to the herb - so the taste will depend on what you put in there. If you are put off by the glass stems @Ed's TnT makes some fab wooden stems for the solo - you should check out his online store

Thanks I appreciate the input, I really want to get the solo but I doubt I'll be able to use it anywhere outside of home, I might end up getting MFLB. I guess Pnp isn't that great after reading a few threads about issues with batteries and the units dying, if that happens to me I'll be stuck with a lemon. MFLB seems like a fair choice.

I think you don't make a wrong move with the MFLB. As you are new to the vaping experience, a 100$ Device maybe easier to invest then a 200$ Device, while both of them may tell you that you don't like the vaping high. It's different and a small chance exists that it's not yours.

It's simplicity should also help you when you already know that warranties could not be used in your circumstances. You will have less likely any other problems then the learning curve. A device with internal batterie can always fail you and is the main reason of outtage on most devices afaik. The MFLB just outsources this problem and replaces it with something you will have always have easy access to.

Even if you dislike the handling and couldn't get the hang of it. When you decide to inverst in a easier device, the MFLB will wait for you and maybe you will get friends at second glance.

The Solo isn't really a stealthy vape since it's a fistful, and eventually you'd need new batteries.

Better than if you smoke it. Since vapor is much milder than smoke, vaping is even more of a plus with lesser quality herb. Having to use more means it'll be kinder to your throat and lungs, vs. smoking.

I had mflb as a first vape and using it publicly is a hassle. You have to pay attention to the chamber shake the box alot keep focus on your technique. I also tried the pax and indica. Long story short nothing has been touched since I got my solo. For stealth I have a cup I use nobody really thinks twice. It fits in my pocket. Load 2 stems and I'm good for the work day with the best flavor and vapor production of any other portable I've tried

While even popular table models proved again and again to cause disillusions sometimes, or you wouldn't see long-date members sticking around if they had found a definitively final vaporizer, for their growing collection... It sounds like you're about to search for a mythical object that belongs to another trend which is NOT the "long run" one i would suspect.
