best nail for 16mm regular coil?

An option is the Domeless.com ceramic.
Fantastic nail. A number of others here use them.
You can get it for a flat coil, 16mm or 20mm.
And they now have a cool optional 'dab cap'.
For quartz I am soon going to be picking up a banger style (with a little hook for coil) from CFAB.

Sorry, unsure exactly what you mean. Both the domeless.com ceramic and the cfab quartz bangers come in 16mm barrel versions.

Yes, let us know how you like it. Particularly if your coil is nice and secure on the nail.
That's the one thing I worry about with the banger style.
I don't know much about coils.
I have Gimido flat coil that I am loving with the Domeless.com ceramic.
I also have the 710 Whip and while I like it a lot, I don't like it as much as the higher temps (700+) available with a standard coil enail.

I had a standard domed HE Ti nail nail back when I was torching 
I then moved to quartz domeless and since have never been back.
Ti just ain't for my tastes.
