Best desktops for flavor chasers

The Heat Island is less expensive and is also my favorite in its class. I think the bamboo HI start at like $50. There are loads of options. I'd reach out to Alan and see what he can do.
I love bamboo and really wanted one of the HI bamboo vapes. I got on the waiting list many many years ago, and nothing ever came from it, so I gave up. I assume I slipped through the cracks, or maybe he kept pushing me further down the line to make room for people that wanted a more expensive vape from him. I don't know. But I got tired of waiting.

POTV usually puts the e-nano on sale for their Black Friday sale, that should be starting in about 2 weeks. So anyone looking for one of those, may want to keep an eye out for that sale.

EpicVape used to give a discount for FC people, I think, via a code. I don’t know if that’s still active, but a search of the E-Nano threads would probably turn it up. Not sure which would be better, though, that or the BF sales.

I’m looking at the E-nano but wondering if I can find a cheaper Log?

That one is simple all in one dial+plug, but I'm not such a fan personally, I don't know... Also yeah as I said, heat islands run cheaper even full kit with everything you need total price will be lower than any other...

Last I heard he was 5 months out but will reach out to him

5 months out? From having any stock? Usually there is something available, sometimes he is not that quick to respond by email, if stuff is going on, the custom list is a much longer wait regardless

That's surprising! Alan can disappear for long stretches but I haven't seen him drop the ball completely. I waited about 2 years for my custom logs, but friends of mine got readymade ones from him much quicker.

Not sure what happened there, but that is a drag.

It's also possible for emails to go to spam when they aren't supposed to, so I didn't take it personally. But once I run out of energy waiting for something, I move on, so I stopped checking in to see what was up.

I hope so! I’ve talked to Alan at HI and nobody

There's a clearance on the e-nano XL at POTV now. At 279$CAD that works out to only $200 US right now. Seems like a very good value to me. I've been thinking about it for a while but I'm happy with my Couchlog. I've heard very good things about it though.

If it went below this price for black friday I'd be really tempted.

Yeah that is weird it should be 1.5 to 2.5 years maximum wait time except the list has gotten really big I think... However for a simple bamboo unit, you shouldn't need the waitlist at all, there should be stock ready to purchase as others have done... Unfortunately if emails are going to spam, that could be tough, you could try messaging here to raise the issue etc

I have a neurological condition that makes chasing after nonresponses way worse for me than for most people. I will probably never order anything again from anyone that isn't currently available. I'm probably going to order the TM2 before the end of the year, and then that is me set for vapes for quite some time.

I'm sorry, with email especially follow-ups are pretty basic etiquette though, I hope it doesn't affect you too much in other areas of life... Certainly a safe approach to avoid dealing with it for purchases though, yeah the individual artisan scene is unique in every case, some like him just go on their own time and so it is up to the customer to put in the work placing the order contacting etc. He prefers to put in the work on the vape, but he does also write very detailed email responses and explains everything very well, once finally in touch!

Oh yeah that would be my own go-to recommendation regardless, I use it much more than any of my HI honestly and yes it is readily available to order easily (for me the aftermarket glass options are a must now though, I don't use stock setups with mine)

Love the base of the E-Nano XL. Makes it the most stable log out there that I know of.

I would jump on that! With the @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd WPA that's one of the best desktop vapes at a great price.
