So, I'll be stopping by that shop tomorrow to get the M3 (their delivery was late today), but in the meantime I did get a replacement Atmos Jr. chamber. It's been months since a fresh tank and I had forgotten how great these are new. I posted this quick review on another site:
The AtmosRx Junior (Jr.) is an ideal wax/budder/concentrate vaporizer with discretion and portability in mind. Due to straightforward design, the ceramic heating chamber is superior to other atomizers for a number of reasons. The no-fuss chamber features a flat heating element/coil (no priming required) with a large surface area, ideal for heat distribution. In addition the wide coil is flush with the base of the chamber, important for two reasons. First, energy is transferred to the ceramic for proper heating of the chamber walls. Second, with no void under the coil, oil will not be trapped beneath the heating element. This wasteful situation only robs energy and reduces overall efficiency. In addition, the chamber funnels your concentrate so it naturally contacts the circular coil; filling is easy (keep in mind I use strictly budder/crumble, nothing real sticky or viscous).
The heating chamber is efficient and focused. Multiple grams of high quality concentrate can be consumed, over extended use, with no cleaning. After two months of moderate and almost daily use, it is time for me to purchase a replacement and I will try cleaning my original with isopropyl.
My only negative thought about the Jr. is the battery capacity, but it is acceptable when you consider its size (the battery AND heating chamber are the height of a typical cigarette lighter). I can typically get through half a day with moderate to heavy use. With that said however, charge time is thankfully brief (~45 minutes). Lastly, new AtmosRx thread adapters allow one to use the heating chamber on 510 style batteries for increased capacity.
TL;DR - The AtmosRx Junior features a portable/discreet ceramic heating chamber; excellent for concentrates due to proper/efficient design. The vaporizer performs exactly as advertised. New thread adapters even allow you to attach the chamber to other batteries if larger capacity is desired.
