Nice.

Finished the install. New Asus/ROG Maximus VI mobo w/ a new Haswell i5 CPU and 16GB of memory. Still rocking the SLI GTX-480s though. Rock solid frames with everything but AA maxed out.

Game handle? Reinstalling BF4 now... fucking updates and patches for days.

Considering it.. Wanted to wait til it was cheap but my friends convinced it will hold its price very long.

Dunno about that.

Also not sure how well my new computer could run it.

I have held off from getting it because of all the negative hype around it. From what I've been able to discern most people that have gotten it have been plagued with crashes and game breaking issues. There's currently a class action lawsuit pending against EA for pushing it out in this obviously broken state.

I look forward to playing it when it's finished though.

I feel the same way man, not a fan of consoles. don't play a ton anymore though. I actually recently been enjoying playing older games. unreal tournament, doom, quake, civ 5 (newer i know) duels of the plainswalkers, CS:source, torchlight II, LoL, of and Borderlands 2! oh man, love that game :p

I recently started playing Diablo 3 again... with the AH going away I am hoping this game can get redeemed.

but yeah PC gaming over consoles anyday. :) I prefer sports games on a console pad (but everything else on a KB and mouse pls) and the new steam controller has me interested.


my system isn't anything amazing(totally fine for me) though. built it in 2011 I think. intel I5 750, 180 gig Intel SSD, 8 gig of ram, ati 5870 (i think?) and like 15tb of HDD's (not enough yet)

I love my PC it's in the living room, and hooked up to the tv. dual monitor style :) have a wireless kb/ mouse at the couch and then a dedicated setup at my desk. works great! just wish I could make the tv image a bit larger yet (for reading on the couch) any apps/settings (win 7) for suggestions are welcome! ;)

Im lovin this game. Well, NOW i am.

I had it on Win 7 x64 Ultimate, ran like shit...kept lockin up, was weird.
So i reformatted w/ Win 8 x64 Pro, newest Nvidia drivers blah blah blah all that tech stuff.

And...walah! Runs flawlessly maxed even on 64 person MP matches!

yes sir! ike I know i can make it 150% bigger, but then it is also 150% on my monitor as well and that's frustrating :p I wish i could do it to only the tv monitor instead, yet still keep the 1080p res as well.
(can a tv even display different resolution?) the things I need to learn :p

All in fun!

So i have a new favorite personal kill now. Was getting hammered in my tank was about to die, jumped out, rpg'd his noob ass and got 4 kills due to engineers behind him hahaha i cracked up

Tank hunting is absolutely my favorite thing to do in Battlefield. Ever since Bad Company 2.

Only wish snipers could still equip C4 like in earlier BF games. That was the best. Made it a bit unbalanced though, I guess.
