Batteries Compatability Question

Hey so unsure exactly where to post this, since I'm getting no traction in the xmax thread, but I need some help determining whether these batteries might work with my new v2.

The xmax battery says 2200mah 18650P 10C on it, blue flat top

But the only ones I can find are like these on eBay, with 3.7V no 10C on the battery.
They all have external chargers too which would really help me, so does anyone know if one of these would work in my xmax, and if any are better than another?

If your bats that you have and work are 18650 flat tops then other 18650 flat top should also work .. no problem

the 10c refers to the discharge rate, those others are probably the same. shouldn't matter

You will find a lot of different 18650's at different prices, I wouldn't buy the cheapest.. they are a very volatile little thing your holding up to your face...

Well the discharge rate should definitely matter as the vaporizer power output has been designed with a specific battery in mind. If you select a battery with a lower C rating then it will swell like a balloon and eventually puff, while getting hot in the process. So get anything with 10C or more but not below.

You need also to determine if your original battery has a built-in protection circuit or not. Protected cells are pricier but they offer more peace of mind if ever the vaporizer charging IC is poorly designed. On the other hand they tend to be slightly longer so you need to make sure size will not be a problem.

yeah I said that wrong,, make sure the C rating is the same as the batteries you all ready have... I don't think you find a lower c rating than 10, but I cant be sure.. More expensive batteries have a higher c rating...

Look for something with a 20A discharge rate or higher.
