im not home at moment..but i think it was .34 which is a bit low..i just hope i didnt burn the coils and forever have bad taste..lol

Nahhh. Worst case scenario, you can do a warm ISO soak for 10 minutes and it'll be good as new. I would unscrew it, screw it back in and lock the new cold resistance. Start with the watts at 15 and 350 degrees and go from there.

If you follow what I was saying about the Mole, I didn't use the Mole with heat sink
for heat . I did it because of testing it, I found out how not to never crack the Quartz
still move it around on Espion 200 & Evic Dual , Evic Two mini, Evolve + & Evolve regular
pen batteries 8-15 very stealth pulse quick, Lavabox dna75m , Pico .

Nice! That is pretty close to what I'm rocking. So far, I don't like temps above 375, and don't really feel like it's necessary. SS 316 is fairly accurate in temp control mode and 360-390 should be enough to get most of the cannabinoids in yer system.

And the surface area on these coils leads to very efficient vaporization as well. Later, I may try bumping up the temps to make it a "one hit and quit" deal. I can get 3-4 tasty hits below 370. But on these devices, you're burning off terps with every hit. It might be nice to get all the goodies in one go and just reload if I want more.

The other nice thing about using a temp control coil like this is tailoring your high. I get more cerebral effects at 350, and more of a body load closer to 400.

I really like this coil, but yes they are coming out with new coils too. Or if you want to get into the building game, you can make whatever coil ya like.

They are also coming out with a quartz crucible solution so your 'trate never hits the coils.

yeah i got the firstrun of quartz buckets and havent even tried them..i guess i will today but i cant wait til the final design comes out.

I have sequoia and hvt told me that quartz dishes are in works but no timetable but in mean time this beast is so much easier to get big clouds that my sequoia titanium bucket..kind of apples to oranges but I haves used any other coils on the sequoia..

USPS claims it's still on its way, but its been days since the tracking was updated. It hasn't been long enough to technically claim a loss yet though. I've talked to AVS but they are putting it in USPS hands right now.

Yeah, I can understand giving it a week or two. I know that the USPS has a minimum amount of time somewhere in that ballpark before you can file to claim lost in transit.

ok had some issues and now need some help..imsuch a mod noob..i cleaned my coiland my bucket and wheni screwed it all back down my reseistanceis too high..so i tried a new coil and same issue..its like 43or45? and its not vape correct in tc..it rips in watt mode..any clilue how to bring resistance down..?

.43 when the atty is cold isn't a huge problem.

Did you do strum the new coil, like the video shows? If so, let the coil sit at room temp for 30 minutes, and re-lock the resistance.

I'm still rocking my original coil. It still tastes good, but the resistance has floated up a bit. The "live resistance" on the coil goes from .415 to .43

I locked mine a little lower than it reads. About .42 and it still works great in TC. Let me know if that works out.

I'm getting ready to try it in VW mode just to clear my anxiety I can already tell this is way too complicated for the people I was planning on gifting these to

Weird. That's really high. It sounds like there's a hot spot somewhere in the coil. You hit it in wattage mode till it glows a few times? If you did that and strummed it, it sounds like it's a bad coil. I'm pretty sure they're all hand made in CO so it's very possible one came through fucked up.

Bummer though. If you don't want to replace the coil, it would still fire ok in wattage mode. 15 watts. If you're running rosin it will probably gunk up the coil faster than what I'm using so you could "sacrifice" this one.

My buddy who I gifted my Mole to just gave it back this morning for my backup Sai
with Quartz Crucible as I made same mistake. Thought I could just set it up for him
perfect with heat sync for now cracking bowl & oiled the o-rings for easy on off loading.
But for some reason it started hitting harsher & jumpinh out of my TCR#92 setting that
I was enjoying with it , had to use a whip to get cooler draw, too short mouthpiece.

I kind of couldn't stop hitting on the new QC on the Sai's new heater plate so
easy to TC, love it works better my for me than QQ as I don't have to mess
with the all the little tweaks to keep it going and I got it hitting unreal at long
sipping low temps. Haven't touched anything else as I'm on 4th garm of mixing
all sorts of live resin, diamonds , sauce & WV 90 space cake oil.
I feel like a chef as I get to watch it simmer & come up thru my straw in my
all glass mouthpiece I use to actually see the quality of vapor i each atty
device I play test. Well I am finished for a while as this is just about perfect in
taste, ease of use, cleaning a breeze & the tank like build of Sai Taf new heater
plate that can also now TC the Ti/skillet. (But i haven't even used that since quartz
& see no reason to anymore as it is now second best lol)
PS(As I mentioned before, I am using No Saionara parts, but you can as I use
Max Vapor Base (better bottom airflow for donuts, cooler looking than Sai)
My special see thru glass stem top and custom straw (kinda like DT Matt's tests)
Only thing from Crossing I use is the Atty's Donut 10mm Ti & QC, This is without a
doubt the best all around setup I've used as a DD EVER. SHEG! LOL!

Yo buddy a few questions and a little help. Now that buddy game me my Mole back,
I don't see that nice even color on the coils anymore that I had when I gave it to him.
Can I restum them or do I have to take them off or replace them? They are mostly
clean, I don't see any problems except doesn't seem to vape as even heated across coils.
Like to get it back to where it was before I gave it out, I really likede passing it around with the Pinnacle WT on top. The Creator and I have been sharing a few things

Yeah, I think this is a relatively "advanced" device. I don't find it super difficult. I think installing coils is easier than re-assembling a Vapcap, for example. But something like the Sai or Triton is easier for newbies.

I would try going through the dry fire and strum process again and see if that works. If not, then pop on another coil. It sucks, but the coils are like $1.50 each.
