Just Some Loser
my middle son (of 3) was recently diagnosed as moderatly autistic. my wife really wants me to go and have a diagnosis too... eish. a whole other thought process that brings me great anxiety!...
One thing that I am still learning (from a dear friend and mentor), is... Having a name that explains the reason for certain things you do.... It offers nothing more than comfort and a clearer direction on where to go next.
It is not my intention to discredit your anxiety, in any way! In fact, anxiety is my best friend/worst enemy and roommate. Just, try not to let anxiety own you.
Autistic or no... there are plenty of people out there dealing with something. No one is perfect! And, should you prove to be autistic, you and your son will have something extra to bond over while you learn, together!
Either way, autistic or no... It is an answer, not a death sentence. Remember that.
Take care!
