For those that have been tracking their deliveries how accurate was the estimated delivery date? It's saying mine will be delivered tomorrow which seems really quick :)

wonder why some require a signature and some don't? Anyone have any insight?

I'm glad mine doesn't require one (at least it doesn't say it does) but I do feel for the folks that didn't get theirs because of it. Been there, done that.

I may be mistaken, but it seemed to me that the batch that shipped out on Tuesday (the initial shipment) required a signature and those that shipped out on Wednesday (the next day) don't require one. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken, but that was my impression.

Even though I have no idea when my ascent will get here, because I pre-ordered from GV back in april. I have to say I almost feel like I'm getting one today. I'm really happy for everyone who is getting the ascent in their hands. Can't wait to see all the vape porn that will be forthcoming. It's the only thing that gets me by while I wait for GV to get their units.

You have seriously misread and confused my posts. I never said DV said ezvapes was a distributor. I never claimed ezvapes was a distributor. I know exactly who are ALL DV distributors, even though DV did not divulge publicly who the 2 US distributors are. Further, ezvapes is definitely not a "(potentially grey market) third party". I know exactly with whom I deal. They are highly reputable and are entitled to fair treatment as is their distributor. Deny one and you have denied the other. The rest of what you posted is completely irrelevant and demonstrates a very poor understanding of business. I will not waste my effort here trying to teach you.

You and other more recent comers to this thread are operating under the extremely naive belief that if DV doesn't say it, than anything claimed by someone else must not be true. WRONG! DV, by omission, intentional or otherwise, did not publicly divulge their other US distributor, so you and others naturally assumed that it was only GV, TV, and DV, and no other. Now you should know differently. My sources are highly reputable and had nothing to gain by informing me of details that DV did not. I make it my business to know what I'm talking about. Others should put forth the same effort before shooting their mouth off. Now, many here have already received tracking numbers or Ascent units. I'm happy for them and look forward to their assessments on the other thread.

Many here go back with me a ways on this thread, and know that I have been a voice of reason and composure with regard to poster's angst over the many delays. However, when statements were made that didn't jive with the truth as I know it, I blew. I'm entitled just like everyone else. Like it, don't like it, up to you. Cheers!

and when will wood Burl be available... this is killing me not knowing when more will be procured!

Someone nailed it- we sent out batch 1 with signature confirmation and batch 2 without. I didn't know the shipping dept took the initiative to select signature confirmation on day 1 as it was the same price.

I'll have my Wood version tomorrow, and by happy mistake a stealth version the next day. Maybe I'll grace you people with some pics with my review. You'll be hearing from me tomorrow, until then I'll be reading other reviews on here with this exact face and way of sitting. :nope:

I ordered the first day it was available, then saw that the wood was available the second day. So I had two orders, the second order is actually coming first. I tried to cancel the stealth but DV did not see my message in time (can't fault them for trying to ship out as fast as possible). I'm actually thinking about keeping it, either as a back-up or maybe I'll give it to a friend or relative as a present. My apologies if anyone got their hopes up. :|

Has anyone got an email from DV saying orders have opened again? I got the impression they were sending units to GV so i figured they would also open orders up.

They need to get existing shipments in and new production runs. I suspect they halted production, pending the outcome of customs issue.

Patience, and they will be selling again soon...

Whoopeee!! Am I the first to get fucked by the Post Office?

I only live two states away & paid for the express shipping and it should have been here today. Hope Davinci will reimburse me for the extra postage.

I went to my PO and told them to hold my mail tomorrow. They usually don't come by my house until 3-5pm and I want to go pick it up (hopefully) around 10 tomorrow morning.

It better be there then...grrrrrrrr.....:rant::bang::bang::bang::bang:
