because "Samantha" is a mouthful.
As far as I'm concerned, their silence is admission of guilt. As has been said, it would take five minutes to tell us what's going on. We know they're lurking on the boards...the fact that they won't breathe a single word is just a great big middle finger to all of us.

And they have officially lost my business. Very sad, after following this so closely for so long. But I can't give my money to a company with so little respect for us.

A free t-shirt (aka free advertising for them) isn't going to change that.

Guilty of what?? Come on, make this good.. This is the nonsense thread after all..

They stopped taking pre-orders.. They emailed the people that placed orders.. I think they covered their bases.
Anything they post here will be attacked by at least a few people, so I cannot blame them for waiting until they know 100% WTF is up with their vapes. Two false starts here already, I am guessing because they wanted to be nice and tell us the good news first, and I am sure they feel pretty terrible about the way things have gone down. The damage is done but a third false start would just be that much worse.

Here's all they need to say:

Hey guys,

We know this has been a long, frustrating wait for all of you, just as it has been for us. Here's the current situation: our shipments have been stuck in customs for a solid week because [truthful reason here]. Based on our communication with them, we expect to be held up for at least another X days/weeks/months. Of course, as we're in the habit of demonstrating, nothing in this business is certain, so we'll keep you informed the minute we hear something new.

Sorry for our shoddy communication these last couple of months. [Insert reason for shoddy communication here.]

It's been a long road from our original release date in March, and we're grateful you've stuck with us. Your input has been invaluable, and we don't take your business for granted.

Hey all based on the information I have received I would expect the units to be shipped early part of next week from DV to preorders.

Exactly, I havent heard they will ship early next week but I have received information that leads me to believe this is going to happen. Hope this helps :)

A DV rep told me yesterday that they'd be sending out an update today.... I suppose they have a few hours left to do that...
