Hola all!

I saw a few questions come up in the last few pages that I'll try to address here.

Ascent Contest: Thank you to all that entered! Drum roll please......and the winner is ADOBEWAN! Congrats! We start the build this week We are just making a few adjustments in the materials used and placement, but same concept.

Chargers: The current DaVinci car charger does indeed work with the Ascent. We wanted to build a USB charger, but it was a no go, something about the Ohms, watts and blowing up a computer.

Me: Yep, definitely a dudette but at the end of the day, we're all dudes right? I used to have my web "dude" posting in the DV thread, but now you guys just have me.

Cover: Yes we are still building the FC recommended dust cover.

Models: We will be releasing the Wood Ascent (not the one in the interview, which is borough wood, but like the one in the promo video) the Croc skin with silver sides and the Matte Black. I did have some extra models that we have been kicking around in the display case just to show the potential. I think the white one was snake skin print. Customization will be coming 3rd quarter!

Undoubtedly Adobewan's design is well developed and well presented, all I ask is that we have a basic (direct) gong attachment available as well for cost and durability purposes

What can I say other than I'm so psyched and thrilled that I've had to change my Depends twice and that''s just while writing this response!
I thought this was a very generous contest, was excited to participate, and want to thank our friends at DaVinci for the opportunity.

I was floored with some of the innovation that came out of this contest. To anyone who hasn't already, I encourage you to go back and take a look at some of the excellent concepts from fellow members:

I also want to shout out a loud thank you to Bouldorado and MidwestBeast for insightful, supportive suggestions. There are some aspects to the FC community that transcend the typical forum BS and I can't help but be a little moved by support from competitors. Are you guys trying to restore my faith in mankind?

Grats though! Ascent is definitely one of the up-and-comings to keep an eye on, nice knowing one of them is going to someone well-versed in vape units. Better post a good video, else I'll be rolling around your block screaming "ADOBEWAN, WHAT ABOUT THAT VIDEO?!" and then sprinkle ABV through your barely-opened car window

I will try my best to get Adobewan his Croc Ascent before release...at least his will be one of the first to go out with OhtheAgony's, who also won one a while back!

Since so many of you participated in building this awesome product, what I am going to do, is to offer you all a free Gog adapter with preregistration and purchase of the Ascent. I should have the preregistration page up by Friday...or so my web guy tells me. This will enable you all to get in line for purchase and then I'll send all registrants a promo code to get the adapter with purchase.

We will of course continue to market the DV after the Ascent is released. Personally, I still like that little guy because I can drop kick it across the room and it won't break, plus I have friends who like to drop stuff ALOT.
