Hi, NT. I also live in Nunavut...Baker Lake. Good to see another from the Great White North here!I think it will be very soon..a few days hopefully. I'm going to the Treating Yourself Expo tomorrow and will check those Ascents out and report back as a few other posters will also.
I'm buying a Davinci for one of my daughters but I'll wait for the Ascente to be released as it has the features I want.

@DV
Hey! How about a Trade Show in the Canadian Arctic? We have a lot of disposable income and love our herbs!
I don't doubt the offer, but don't understand why DV would be going out of their way at all to help a distributor that's trying to suck in buyers with a payment for an unreleased product. IMO Gotvape alone should be eating the cost of the WP adapter.
Ha! I hope I'm the first 'Nunavutian' (lol) to have one!Hi Wildchild
Are you the Wildchild who used to post on Canadian Canoe Routes ?
I actually live about an hour from Toronto but I'm an Arctic lover ,the land ,people and culture hence my avatar. I spend as much time as possible kayaking and backpacking in Northern Ontario and Baffin Island when I'm not down here being a wage slave.
Baker Lake sounds exciting and remote and I assume you'll have the honour of being the first Nunavutian to own an Ascent.
I'm shocked that any of our FC members would do such a thing. Give me their names and we'll dismember them immediately.Dreamerr said:Yes, it was me and then others took credit lol
Saw this on reddit (possible mass buy opportunity for wholesale price):

Would be cool if DV agreed to do this if there were enough people.
I say it doesn't hurt to join and vote to add to the momentum. Maybe a big group could get a good deal.
We appreciate your patience and most importantly choosing Got Vape as your Vaporizer Source.
I know you are going to be extremely pleased with your Ascent.
Here is a photo of the adapter; this is going to be a very nice attachment that allows for an extra layer of water filtration while Vaporizing.
They included a picture of the inline adapter (18mm), not the U-Shaped one. Both are listed on Davinci's site.
Do you think you could screenshot it and post a pic?
Can someone explain what this massdrop thing is. Also are people going for the 18 or 14 mm adapters.

I have serious doubts that an as-of-yet-released product with this much pent up demand will be a candidate for any bulk purchasing for quite some time yet.
Simply put, if they have 100 units (made up numbers) for the first batch, and 150 people willing to pay full MSRP, why on Earth would they undercut those sales?
Now, if you don't mind waiting half a year or more, then that would be the deal for you.
