I have spent a week reading and I can’t make Temp controls work
I read all 34 pages of the Saionara thread here, 27 pages of the Evape forum, countless google searches and reddit lurking concerning Artic Fox settings. Heres my set up:
RX200S
Saionara Titanium Gen 1 Non Top Flow Cap
4mm coils SS Quartz / SS Black Ceramic.
I downloaded Artic Fox and had a million NooB questions about the basic settings and posted up asking for descriptions or tips.

I installed Artic Fox on the RX200S
I read even more and found some answers but even more questions
The Saionara came with a Kanthal 2mm coil (15-25watts)
I used that one first in watt/power mode, adjusted for preference and set it for 18 watts, 1 sec preheat @150%, and pulsed it.
Result: instant vapor and strong flavor

Then I tried Temp controls
4mm SS Quartz coil (15-25)Watts
locked resistance at room temperature .30ohm
I tried the Preheat settings: Linear/Curve/Relative % and no difference.
I tried different settings for the coil material:
SS/ SS 316/ TFR 316L/ TCR 102
Read a post on reddit saying HVT coils listed as SS 316 are actually SS 304 and do better in Temp control as TCR 102-104
temps tried: 360/380/400/420F
Watts tried 18-27 tested range
Was barely able to melt wax, no vapor
Tried Temp control with Pi Regulator 0% setting on and off. and a few posts online recommend settings of p300/i300, p300/70
I have no idea how Pi regulator works, but this is what I’ve found and read even if I’m still confused
