Arizer extreme menu query

I bought an extreme around 5 years ago after reading finding this site. It's been on over 6 hours every day, and has been superb.

I recommended it to a friend, who received the v4 today, but I found it behaves differently. Is it supposed to default to temperature after turning the fan off? I'm so used to turning mine on, selecting fan, and never having to mess with the menu again for the evening.

Indeed it does, at least mine did!

Cheers dude! It seems a step backwards to me, but at least it isn't faulty.
