I hear bison meat is great. I want a fat bison burger on a potato roll. Medium rare, lettuce and tomatie with dill pickle sidecar. My bros I want this burger! Any animals you want to eat? Could be otter, snake, whatever really

You'll want to put bacon on that burger if you want a fat one, it's really lean meat, low cholesterol, very good. I like deer meat and wild ducks a lot.

This is a lionfish - a popular saltwater fishtank fish (very expensive, prized fish), is now a nuisance in Florida's wildlife (it's fins are venomous). This invasive species is killing off the local fish and growing quickly in numbers.

Luckily there has been an effort to put these fish into the local cuisine by working with chefs and fisherman to bring it to the "market".

I've been waiting a while to try out this fish (I like the concept of eating invasive species as a method of population control), and luckily our local Publix grocery store began stocking it this past month. My wife bought and cooked two of them last week. I'll admit it was much better than I expected for such a small fish - nice flaky white meat

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
Not that I've tried EVERY meat on the planet.... but isn't it time evolution gives us a NEW kinda animal to devour ?

Going to be stopping in Cayman Islands next month and I heard that eating turtle is a thing to do there. So I'll probably try some turtle.

@2 Cycle not sure where you're at, but they serve bison burgers at BJ's and also one other large chain that I can't remember the name of right now lol.

I'd love to try the Lionfish. Seen many, never ate one.

I've eaten a few odd by western standards foods:

Deer, elk, moose, bison, rabbit, goat, duck, goose
Snake (several types including cobra)
Turtle, Alligator, Frogs, Crawfish
Shark, Eel, Parrotfish, Snakehead Fish, Urchin, Opihi
Balut (Duck egg fetus)
Dog
Pig bile (added to food or drink for bitterness)
Ants, beetles, tarantulas, silk worms, grasshoppers

I'm sure there's more I've forgotten. Plenty of odd vegetables and fruits as well. We travel and only eat and sleep like the locals. No reservations, luggage, hotels or restaurants.

I met four elderly gentlemen on a tiny Pacific island who had eaten human flesh (cultural rituals in their younger days).

I want the most alpha burger known: the gorilla burger. Thick cut of gorilla biceps on sesame roll.

I rather like the fact that 'Straya has the Emu & Kangaroo as our national animals since they cannot take a backwards step. I have eaten them both though :|.

Greenland shark meat is normally toxic, and the preparation of it isn't what I'd call inspiring, but I'm game to eat the weird things.*

*With the caveat that I will never eat an endangered animal or something I would otherwise find unethical to eat.
