Are auctions allowed in Classfieds?

As the title says are we allowed to do auctions, if so are there any rules associated with that?

As far as I understand Auctions are not allowed. What you can do though is set a Maximum price and take offers - accept the highest one - pretty similar-ish.

Per the Classified's rules:

"If you're selling, state an asking price. If trading, state what you're looking to trade for. Bidding is not allowed."

I think that's pretty clear. There have been some members who have pushed this rule in the past. It is not allowed. The one exception was for the Abysmal cause.
