No drag on my single stemline, no real desire for a double with vaporizing.Hows it going guys I just bought a straight tube from dan, stemline to disk and then had it changed from disk to double disk. So, you guys that have some of dans pieces. Do you notice any drag with the single or the double? If you have a single are you happy with it or would you change to a double? Curious to hear opinions.
okay but do you think there would be more drag with the double. Thing is I already changed my order to double so I dont want to change it again if theres no need to. Im also gona vaporizer with it. (lsV)No drag on my single stemline, no real desire for a double with vaporizing.
I've never combusted in my Apix.
My Uber Tube shipped out today. If you noticed the extra delay from my original estimate, Dan more than made up for it. In fact, I'm glad it wasn't done on schedule!
Don't know about thickest but he said it was the widest base he's done.
Saw this on IG and had to share!
You can get an Apix stemline for $160.Hey I know this thread is old but do you guys still think apix is just as good as a G Line SOV? My LHS was gonna give me the sov g line bubbler bent neck for $350 when it retails for $400. Okay price but when I saw what I can get from apix for 275 and less I was surprised. How does apix compare to SOV honestly? Thanks guys
thanks for the reply, what about mobius stereo matrix vs a king stem disc from apix vs sov g line? You can get an Apix stemline for $160.
And @ ~$300 you're looking at heady tubes or stemline+disk perc combos with Apix. These pieces have a much more "personal" feel than a similarly-priced sov tube... if that floats your boat.
A sov might be 100% perfect, and the apix might be 99%.
Feels worth it to me - more bang for your buck
welp, the stereo matrix requires a lot of "pull" to get the percolator started. The other tubes start percing with much less force. Personally, I'd only want a stereo matrix for gigantic rips - not so much a daily driver functionthanks for the reply, what about mobius stereo matrix vs a king stem disc from apix vs sov g line?

Best thing to do in this situation is go with your gut instinct. Sometimes you got to surrender and just make that decision
With this kind of glass, it's pretty hard to go wrong.
Yeah but a lot of people are also not vaporizing through it... Mostly smoking or dabs. I agree with @SD_haze about the Stereo Matrix, gets a little chuggy at first to get the percs going... I think a few people in the Mobius glass thread talked about splashback out the joint end when taking hits. I think it's hard to say over the internet what the best glass for a specific person is. Smooth rips are going to need more water contact. Think honeycomb with all the holes and the small individual bubbles stacking on top, even more stackage occurs with each honeycomb plate added. Consider then the amount of slits on a stemline. Less slits won't make smaller bubbles like a honeycomb, but will also not be as draggy since there aren't 50 points of diffusion. Seeing as Mobius and Sov are both "big recognized brands" they would also likely hold their resale value better if you decide to part with them for whatever reason. There's a new Matrix perc I think it's called the Binary Matrix, it's like a regular Matrix perc but cut in half, mounted on its side (so the perc holes point upwards and the shape is like a rainbow), in the same under/over fashion that the Stereo Matrix has. Is there any way you could get into a shop and ask them if you can water test some of their pieces? Hopefully they have at least a Mobius or a Sov or a similar stemline to at least get a reference point.well my goal is to take the hugest and smoothest rips possible but I don't want anything that has too much drag. Weird you say that I read online people saying its like hitting air its so easy. My gut instinct was the apix king stem to disk but then I saw I can possibly get the stereo matrix for a little more and just how it looks and what people say about it being the best for flowers makes me want it way more now.
