just made one of these from an old candle ($15 bucks in the Smoke Shop)

could a similar plug be made in reverse I wonder, to allow it to seal over the ends of my whip...?

or, would the stank pervade the joints and tubing?

I never heard of a whip seal, but I was recently thinking of this during a vape sesh as I watched the vapor leak from the whip. I just came up with a temporary solution right now, which is to grab a small piece of duct tape and stick it over the end.

Check the white "stuff" on the whip!

i don't think that would stop the smell coming from the wand end - it's the wand end (oils) that stink on mine.

I was thinking of something that would completely cover 2 or 3 inches of each end, but fit over without touching anything hot

i store my DBV whips in a rubbermaid air tight container to eliminate airborn smells when not in use. works very well.

yeah, I use the Aloha Bagz (heavy duty zip lock)

Today...I had a "stoner moment" and hot glued my wand into my old bong, then figured out there was no way to empty the bowl without emptying the water, lol

i had an all glass vapor path for several loads, but with no carb hole it's not worth the trouble
