Even if what they sell is genuine, I stay away from sites with:
- never-ending temporary discount codes:
10% off site-wide*! Use code: AUTUMN10 at Step 2 of checkout.
*Not valid on PAX or Firefly Vaporizers
Time Left: 8 hours, 2 mins, 0 secs
(wanna bet it'll still be available for use tomorrow?)
- Overpriced items that are always on sale and still end up being more expensive than trusted sites
(checkout the ascent charger for instance)
- info deliberately left vague
(anything related to the type of plugs for instance)
This charger can be used worldwide - an adequate converter will be provided.
I'll admit once they have nothing to hide they don't, I remember the vapexhale having a coment about the type of adapter stating that if the 220V version was out of stock they'd provide the US version with an adapter, the thing is that back then the 220V version was still WIP and even vapexhale wasn't selling it. Now that it's apparently available, they state:
(220V International Model)
Some would call this marketing tactics and I can't deny it is, I'd just add dodgy in front of it. Now some of their offers might beat other sites and leave no doubt about the product which makes it understandable for people to go for them; I personally don't want to support such site.
There is even more to it but as it's only things that raised my suspicion meter and can't fully prove things at 100% I will not state them here.
Now on a more positive side I'm happy to see that my favourite UK site apparently prosper and expand their offers with correct prices and good products.
