Yes, I'm in nys too, normally I don't their prices appropriate because I love the beer so much. Their take on a hazy IPA wasn't all that. Awesome tropical smell, but the flavor wantwa so strong. Good level of haze. For the price hazy little thing is where it's at.

Another Doubler(weed and beer!) here. Strong preference for double IPAs, the hoppier the better, and Belgian Tripels. These are strong brews and I typically have one with dinner most nights but one or two nights a week we have "celebrations", and have two or three. Right now I'm stocked with my very favorite, Stone Runination, and Stone Enjoy By, Allagash Tripel and Brett IPA, Westmalle Tripel, Peak Super Juice, Firestone Leo v Ursus, Lagunitas Waldo, etc. My favorite medium IPA is Smuttynose.

While these scrumcious beverages go with just about any strain from any vape, I find that strong ale and VapCap hits with some good music lead to almost directly to heaven.

Bruges Zot Blonde, first tasted on a city break with my wife and adored ever since, whenever i find a local supply I do get a little excited, much like the 420 sale hysteria! I've decided i need no other purchases (apart from my name to come up on @Pipes list:cool:) so time to chill here on a Friday night and keep @VapCap away from my wallet!

Happy 420

I picked up a couple cans for like $4 a pop! of Pulp Addiction from Ithaca Beer. It's awesome. It's my all-time favorite beer at this point. I wish it was always available! It's very refreshing, not very bitter but there is some weed like funk. It's fruity smelling and tasting as hell. Some yeast build up on the bottom of the glass when I'm done. But not much. Goes perfectly with some grass.

Even though these cans are expensive and I have flower power cans readily available for half the money...but as good as flower power is, this is much better in my opinion. I would pay like $8 or more in a bar for a beer like this. -_-

This was one majorly delicious beer. I picked up some other fancy beers I think I'll like. I should have got a shot of the sediment when I was nearly done. Pretty heavy particulates at the bottom...,up there among the most I've seen. Anyway, this was juicy, fruit, and really refreshing. I had with with my vapcap. Apparently this was a limited one time brew. Glad I got to try it.

I also picked up a 4 pack of 20 oz cans from Southern Tier. A limited edition named The Psychic Laser lol It's an unfiltered double ipa that the company describes as "...earthy and spicy notes. We love the way these essential saison characteristics meld with the tropical, fruity, piney and citrusy notes from some of our favorite hops: Mosaic, Equanot, and Simcoe. All of this and some light malts..." I do not believe I have had a Saison before...I keep seeing sour ones, and I don't like sour beers. I had it in my head that saisons were sour...

I tried the one released before that called "A Wrinkle in the Fabric" and that was super awesome. A friend declared it was the best IPA she had ever had. It tasted melony and dry. Truly awesome.

For all you serious full flavor drinkers.... Corona just came out with a new beer and they are testing it in our area. Stay away from it. LOL However, you light beer drinkers.....

Corona Premier

If you like club soda, I can definitely recommend this beer. It is, without a doubt, the lightest beer I have ever tasted. This is close to Kingsbury Brew or the other "non-alcoholic" beers. However, the Corona Premier is full strength (as far as Corona beer is concerned) with, probably a 3% to 4% or so. Very tasty, like I said, if you like club soda with a slight beer flavor.

Anyone use a kegerator at home? I have really been wanting to put one in the garage that can hold a couple ~5 gallon kegs. I like having variety but I also always feel like 1 bottle of beer is not enough and 2 is too much. I always want ~16-18oz.

Once kept kegs (and CO2) in the fridge, which is about the same. It's a great way to increase your beer consumption. Essentially drank nothing but beer - which is why it didn't last.

It's been one year since giving up beer due to gout. Don't miss it that much. Suppose it's true that people can get used to anything.

Ah - I guess thats my fear, having beer on tap all the time is probably a little to low friction. I visited my friend who had one and it was so nice to just grab an IPA (what he had on draft) at any time. I suppose to have that available at home all the time might be a little much.

In fact - even having a fresh growler around can be too tempting as once you open it it feels like a race to finish so it doesnt go flat. I know there are also CO2 growlers that are supposed to hold beer longer but I have not talked to anyone who has used them for very long.

I'm on a beer break for a while. I still buy a beer every now and then, but I'm trying to cut back enough that I drink only a few beers over the weekend or something like that. I love my expensive beer, but I'm not rich. It's beer or cannabis, and one is a medicine that's also fun, while the other is pure fun. Bye bye expensive 4 packs of Ithaca Beer and Southern Tier IPAs

Yep, prices of a lot of beers are getting out of control with no reason in materials a/o processing imo despite the fact that there are a lot of bad beers around.
Use the hype to get what you want for your beer!
I'm starting to boycott this developement

Don't kid yourself about one being medicine and the other not.

I get a ton more relief from my anxiety and depression by dosing alcohol than I do from pot.

I'm not kidding anyone about anything. You are not me, and I'm not you. Alcohol does not help with my arthritis in any way

I don't disagree with @Hackerman that alcohol is easier relief from anxiety and depression, but it's a lot more dangerous as well. It's fine as a temporary fix, but if you suffer from anything chronic, it starts to have really unwanted side-effects with longer-term use.
