I saw him a few years ago, Kali baby signed my hat. Show was pretty dope. Cool to see his old music around here...^^^Mac Lethal. Always cracks me up when I see him battle.
Same here. Ever since I heard "Questions" from The Calm Before the Storm way back when.
Love a bit of EL-P, the Company Flow - Funcrusherplus album was where I first heard him, back in the 90s and the Blackstar album and the Pharcyde - Labcabincalifornia are ones that get played a lot round here!i still love it and the old stuff, but cant say that i have been paying as close attention as i should be. lately its been Doom, EL-P, and random old stuff. there is probably newer stuff that i am unaware of. i have focused a lot of my recent music listening to stuff like flying lotus and com truise. downtempo fire. if i had the time i would make so much fucking noise... lol
heres one from a couple of years ago that i still bug out to...

I saw these guys last year. The BEST show I've ever seen. It was amazing. I had only listened to El-P's brilliant Cancer 4 Cure prior but I've since purchased RTJ and I'm eagerly looking forward to RTJ2.11111.........!!!!
RTJ all day!!
I am a huge fan of what might be called "Socially conscious" hip-hop. I can never get enough. All too often, though, I find that there are themes of misogyny that I just can't tolerate. Any recommendations for bands/artists I should listen to?
