Do you ever have like a 5-10 minute period where you can not hit the ball after medicating? I shoot 90-100 so I'm far from good, but after a few rips I am lucky to even hit the ball. Golf is one of the only activities I do that isn't better "On Weed, Mannnn" I do love the peacefulness of being alone at like 7 am in the middle of a great course, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I can't hit the ball before or after medicating.....so there's no real difference for me. Except for the fact that I seem to get into my "I don't give a shit" mode after medicating so I throw my clubs a lot less. :smug:

I have hit some of my best shots right after taking a fat rip, its when i start to get sober/angry that i play my worst. I will usually take a hit after having a bad hole to calm down it really helps me forget about it and focus on my next shot.

What kind of clubs you guys rocking, I need to get a hybrid or 3 wood

Taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driver
Taylormade burner Irons
Mizuno 2 Iron for when I'm feeling crazy
Cleveland 60 degree wedge
Taylormade 58 degree wedge
Ping g10 putter
Nike TW 2010 golf shoes( most comfortable golf shoe I've ever had)
Ball i usually play a Prov1 or Bridgestone b-330 rx

Buying golf gear can be addicting

This phenomena is the basis for my group's MJ handicapping system . Basic rules are simple -
make a birdie , take a hit
hit 3 greens in a row , take hit
lowest on the front nine , finish all currently active bowls , then take a hit
obviously golfers who aren't golfing well enuf to have a rule apply need to take a hit as well .
I find it is much less aggravating than the standard USGS handicap , it's SO much easier to grant a competitor a vape break than a stroke ...

Just found this thread.. +1

I golf at least once a week, usually 2 or 3 times if my body allows it. It is actually my best opportunity to try to convert my combusting friends but still haven't found the perfect portable for golfing if I am sharing. Also, still searching for a perfect strain to help me break 90.. lol

I remember seeing an interview with a professional golfer on the Nationwide tour and he indicated there are a lot of golfers who partake. At one point he mentioned how the port-a-potties frequently smelled of freshly smoked herb. Too funny.

Love to golf, hate the expense of it, I can hardly justify paying 50 bucks for 18 when I could easily get some killer buds!

I'm the same. So I play Frisbee golf mostly and ball golf when I have the loot. I have a really nice golf app called Golf Now and I can find some killer deals on there. Usually its last minute stuff but you can really save a ton. When I lived in WI there were courses that when you go there it would be around $50 for 18 with a cart. But on that app I got the same course for $20 a person with a cart. So more than half off. My clubs are still stuck in WI boo!!!! But I just got my disc's back finally today lol
EDIT:

I use www.golfnow.com, you can get some pretty killer deals on tea times, you just have to pay upfront on some of them. I usually pay around 20-30(with a cart) for 18. I play during the week though, not as busy and usually a bit cheaper. Its definitely a luxury to be able to play often, once i stopped working at the golf course I didnt play for a while because i was so used to playing for free.
lol just read the reply's now. Good call!

right on dude.. i play disc golf also.. fun, free(mostly) sport.. i'm not too good at real golf hah.. i went on a disc golf road trip years back.. picked a bunch of high rated disc golf courses up the 101 and printed out GPS for them all using the http://www.dgcoursereview.com/ site.. we were planning to go from Southern CA to Northern CA.. our last stop was supposed to be Humboldt.. a disc golf course in the red woods.. made it just before San Francisco and my friend got a speeding ticket and decided to turn around.. saw some of the coolest courses yet on that trip up the 101.. it was pretty cool at first.. that ticket kinda put a damper on things.. we were doing it on almost no budget and that ruined it hah.. IIRC we planned to come back and cruise down the 5 and hit up a few more courses we never played..
look up a course called ryan ranch disc golf.. one of the most interesting ive been to.. i think its like an hour or so south of San Francisco.. something like that... it was like a 30 something hole course and was made by locals.. very challenging terrain.. bound to take a disc from you.. the course goes through some tough hills.. w/ lots of trees and shrubs and obstacles..
golden gate park was a tough course for me.. i'm a righty and i felt most of the holes would better suit a lefty.. still, i love that park, its tough.. any good ones out by you? i always use that site.. i'm sure you do to hah.. its the only site pretty much. hah.

thanks I just moved here so I need some course ideas. I have been to one in Anderson and one in Redding so far and they were alright. I came from WI so we have some really nice course there. I can't wait till I find a good one around here, so I'll have to check out that Ryan ranch. I was going to check out this one right here in town but it has tones? So no baskets which I don't think I'll like.

I feel like vaping can either lead to a path of great shots or horrible ones no middle wrong after I get baked haha

Got busted vaping on the golf course , today :uhoh: . Played in the late afternoon on a Hot day , 108 in the shade . After playing the front 9 by myself i ran into a big backup on the back 9 and ended up joining a twosome . It turned out back 9 was packed , waiting for 2 groups in front of us on each tee . Time to vape . After finishing putting out , I lagged behind and discreetly took a few hits off of my PVHES stealth equipped Solo and rolled up to the next teebox . Just as i finished saying hi to the 4 other guys waiting in front of us , my Solo gives a big BEEP ( turning itself off ) - all 6 other guys immediately look at my cart , and one of the guys in front of me asks , " Did your coffee just beep ? "
Immediately followed by a bunch of pointed questions , " Why are you drinking coffee when its a hundred out ? " , " I didn't know they sold iced coffee in those little cups ..." , " Why do you have a coffee cup AND a huge iced tea ? " , " Hey , can i try some of your coffee ? "
Long story short ( too late ... ) all of the guys were COOL - ended up reloading and handing my Starbucks travel cup around , trying a Pax for the first time , getting a number for a local delivery guy with great flower , and had 2 birdies ! Thank you , Solo

btw - hold the UP button till it beeps to disable further beeping
