Another "What will my next vape be" thread

I know plenty of these threads pop up, but i feel each one is different and after searching I could not find much to help my cause. Im currently looking for a new vape.

I currently own the PAX (My daily driver) and original VG, which will be retired very soon as I just dont like the idea of lighter exhaust (However minimal it may be) in my vapor path. Love the pax, only two complaints are the maintenance with daily use and how much you have to pack in the oven.

Im looking for a new dry herb vape (If it can also do sold/liquid concentrates, that's awesome too), something to keep at home with the option to put in as little material as possible. Something that is more conservative than the PAX, in other words something that wont require me to use .4-.6 per session.



So what im looking for...

Price Ranger: $200-$250.
Temperature options
Plug in is not an issue
Something that is easily concealed and not a huge desktop vape
Good warranty/customer service if its near the top of my price range
Something that will last a long time
FC discount codes dont hurt either!

So far at the top of my list are the E-Nano by EpicVape and the Arizer Extreme Q. Im not asking for you all to compare and contrast the Enano and Extreme Q, but i would like some input from the community given my above requirements.


Any and all input is welcome, and thanks to all those who help me out!

Using the AA for home, the Imag+ for the road. Just got theThe Kind Pen - TruVá. I am thinking of getting a Grasshopper when a few reviews are in. I will probably sell The Kind Pen at that time.

With what's at the top of your list, seems like you're going for a plug in? I have the pax too dude so I feel your pain as I'm sure many others do. My next vape (probs within the next month) is going to be the Haze for sure. That seems to meet your requirements in every way {efficient, in your price range, concentrate/herb compatible, temp variation} unless you simply don't want a portable. They also love us FC folk and if you email them you could probably work something out ;)

The haze, hu? Thats been on my "Keep an eye on" list for a while now. It uses far less herb and does not combust? Hows the battery life?

I'm sure it varies by user but in the best of threads for the Haze, which I recommend you check out, @scottg402 and @trevorzamani claim they last between 45-75 mins (I know pretty broad range). Now I'm not totally sure if they're talking about the longer lasting batteries, but that's another great thing about the Haze. You can buy the longer lasting batteries and in turn have 4 batteries which should be more than enough.

The batteries look like my sony 18650 batteries i have for my mechanical mod... Interesting. Anyone have experiance with the Enano?

They are 18650's. The life depends on a lot of things like session length/temps and how old the batteries are. I was getting 45-60 minutes out of the original batteries and they have some XL batteries that will get you a bit longer.

The Haze is a nice little versatile device in my opinion. There are also few vape companies that can match their service and how they listen to their customers to improve their product. Lastly their pay it forward upgrade program is unmatched! If you don't know about this program then check it out. It's a win/win for everyone!

How's the underdog compare to the Enano? They appear pretty similar

EDIT: looks like the Enano can change temps but the underdog cannot, right?

Sounds like you need an awesome plugin vaporizer. Enano I've been thinking about for my next vape. It's small and I think they are awesome looking. I tried out @Enchantre 's.

@Snappo had a nice set up with a @Ed's TnT mouthpiece and an extended tubing set up, it was flexible tubing. I wanted to replicate that. I can't remember where it is on FC, it was a while back and I think it was on @Ed's TnT 's sub thread. Snappo had taken a picture of it. I thought it looked awesome.

There are so many ways you can customize your vaporizer to fit your needs. I have learned so much info on FC. Thanks to all.:)

Fanboy vs. Fanboy...

It won't matter which log vape you choose, as they work close enough to the same way - constantly available heat applied to a small amount of herb, in a (usually glass) stem/gong/basket/roasting tube. How you control the heat is minor learning curve with any of them... so, it falls to absolute personal preference.

I truly think anyone looking to purchase a new vape that isn't in a huge hurry should be looking at the Zion thread. This really looks like a killer vape in a reasonable price range that should tick a lot of boxes for folks. I know I am very excited about it and it WILL be MY next vape. :) Instant on, highly efficient, good battery life. No cord...

Thanks guys, looks like the E-Nano or Underdog. Is the underdog site correct when they say it takes up to 40 minutes to reach its temperature!? If this is the case, ill go with e-nano hands down.

EDIT: My mind is never made up, but i know now for sure that I want a smaller plug in unit that is highly reliable. E-Nano is perfect in size, but i think i must do some more research. If anyone

I have used a log and a good one that is, the Hot Pod and frankly, now that I have a Crafty I wouldn't go back to one... Everything seems better with the Crafty and not having to drag a cord isn't bad either. I honestly don't understand why I would use a plug in ever again. Tha Crafty can give hits that are too much even for the most hardcore friends I have as well as for me. The taste rocks, loading/unloading is the easiest ever and guess what...
No glass to break easily either... ;) Dopefiend has a nice price these days. You can't go wrong with this. You can't go wrong with an e-nano either I guess but there are so many pros with the Crafty that I think the only reason to get a log is the simplicity of the main unit and its longevity. But when you have a nice warranty with the Crafty why would you mind?

Sounds like you need to try out a few more logs to me. ;) If the Crafty is easier to load and unload than my logs, I will be amazed, seriously amazed. Since when did glass become a bad thing? You forgot beauty of the wood vs plastic molding as a reason. :peace:

I've used a vvps with a log vape. To me it's another chunk of hardware you have to plug in. The e-nano's temp control works fine for me. When I change the temp it's at least a half step at the time (6 to 6.5, etc.). I don't even need the fine tuning that's built in, let alone what you get with a vvps.

For me this would be a strike against the Extreme, and the addition of a vvps with a log vape would fall into the same category. With the nano all you've got is a wood covered cylinder and a power cord with a lump in it. Call it an aromatherapy device, used with essential oils, and you don't even have to hide it away.

The E-Nano seems be what im after so far, and im not that concerned with hiding it. I suppose Im after the power and reliability of a plug in but i just dont want a massive desktop vape in my room, haha. It just needs to be a reasonable size that i can tuck away (Or bring out quickly) when guest come over. Hell, my e-cigs look more suspicious than most log vapes.

But the underdog site is wrong when they say its a 40 minute warm up time right? If i had a 40 minute warm up time i would end up digging around for my old glass combustion pipes lol

To address those who say you can leave a log vape on 24/7: I do not think that is advised by either company, all though it can be done.


Being that we're at the higher end of my price range with a proper E-Nano, anyone else have some more opinions/ experiences with the enano? Im pretty sure you can hook that bad boy up to a water pipe too, right?
