Angus Enhanced

Hi peeps,
Referring to the plastic smell from the angus enhanced.
I have my unit since a long time now.
And several times i wrote about it here in the forum. And asked if other have similar experience. But people mostly kept quiet about it.
So, in my experience, there is a super strong strange smell, when you heat up the unit without having the mouthpiece/lid on top. So heat up the unit with a open oven. Without herbs inside. Then this super strong robot fart smell comes up. And actually disappears again, when the unit is on temperatur.
You cant smell this, when the lid fur the mouthpieces is on top on the oven.
You can also not taste it when you are inhaling from the empty unit.
This brings me the conclusion, that the smell must come from the white upper Part of the oven (Actually somebody else wrote this long time ago). The Ring around the oven. And this Part ist actually not a part of the airpath. Because it sealed by the oven lid.
Actually i also wanted to write mike about this one more time....

And also i have the angus og. And the angus og does not has this smell.
And also i have the experience
, that my og is giving much more milky rips the the enhanced....
that ring is made from peek materials as is the og and ruby model, the mighty+, venty, and i believe it is used several other vapes. if not in airflow path, what is your concern?

regarding milk comparison of og and ae, most other reviews online of og and enhanced, show ae is faster to milk but both similar in overall milk production amts..

So you smell nothing strange when you heat up your enhanced without the lid on the oven?
I even have 2 angus enhanced. Same smell with both. And i do not have a very sensitives nose

@WeedHunter even from the official store? From china

@imor jones I always thought that smell came from the case. The moment my case stopped smelling like "factory new", the angus hasn't even smelled like that again
My ae never was in the case again. Its always on the shelf.
I also use it from time to time. And always like it.
By the way i just will load it with some nice permanent marker...Boom:)

And about the milk production comparing the 60W og angus and the angus enhanced.
With the og i would continue heating up like a minute more after heat up time on highest level. And i will get a really milky rip on a mid size rig.
And when i do the same with the ae. The rip is not that dense and milky compared to the og.
This are my findings. The og has a little bit bigger oven size. This should make a difference in generally. Also its maybe about higher air flow of the ae. But here i actually tested it with a more closed airflow on ae. Or there are different temperature settings.
Yeah, it might be temp settings, airflow and a bit ovensize...So they are actually the same in overall milk production

PS. By the way . The rocket stem for the tinymight is so universal, i use it with the ae, the tm, the venty and the anvil👌

naw, no smell, but i don't sniff the machine like that.
i'm only concerned if the airpath is clean and has no odd smells coming out of it. if a plastic or metal housing of a vape has a odd smell when i use it then i start to wonder. after 2 or 4 burn-outs and airing out the unit and case in sunlight for a hour, my unit seems to smell fine .:)

Thank you! And the lid and bottom of the capsule seem to be larger in diameter than the glass part, right?
No, the bottom metal part is the same diameter as the glass in the widest sections (the cross-like thing), and the lid just has two protruding metal sections (it’s 13mm at the widest).

Now, looking at the pictures in the link you posted, it seems like mine don’t have 2 of the metal „tongues” bended like on the bottom.

You can see it here: https://verdampftnochmal.de/yllvape-angus-enhanced-dosierkapseln

Do you have any such capsules? : https://verdampftnochmal.de/angus-dosierkapseln

I had them until I gave them to a friend, and I remember that the diameter of these capsules was about 11.5 mm. Does it turn out that glass capsules are slightly smaller in diameter?

And how high are the glass capsules, including the lids? I'm sorry I didn't ask you to measure the height right away..

I have two of them, they’re 11mm on the dot basically in diameter and 10mm in height.

EDIT: sorry, I didn’t click the right link haha, I only have the glass ones and that’s what the measurements are for

Thank you so much for the information. By the way, metal capsules are of very high quality and have a large capacity. I used them in TM2. I can recommend them

Maybe it's a subjective experience and you just need to try them...They are comfortable and ergonomic. They are durable and made of thick metal. The openings are wide. I don't know how they compare to glass capsules, but if I had Angus, I would definitely try them.

oh since this is a FC AE sub, i thought this thread was about angus enhanced caps, not a caps in general subject.

Hello everyone. Does anyone else’s AE produce vapor when it’s empty? I just cranked mine upto max temp, and noticed it producing tiny wisps of vapor even though the oven chamber is completely empty. You might need to use a flashlight or stand by a window to notice it as the vapor is extremely minimal. But consistently present. Even after multiple heat cycles.

I wondered if it was iso residue, but I let everything dry out completely overnight. So it can’t be that. The only other thing I can think of is the presence of something other than air in the vapor path.

I couldnt see any vapor coming out of the oven while heating up to max temp.
Just the odd smell when heating up without lid.

In last few days i again used the AE almost exclusively. On Level 3 more or less. With the rocket stem as cooling unit.
At yeah its such a tasty vape with a good oompf. Its totaly top notch in vapor quality and performance.

And have to mention the og angus again. Its the my most favorite vape on the rig. Such a dense vapor (and the AE can do the same)

Just wanted to highlight again that the angus og and AE are two of my most favorite vapes. In line with the tm2, venty, anvil etc...

Stay medicated
