Yes it seems very durable. Didn’t try the capsules yet, will try them tomorrow.

Yes removing the screen would be nice for better airflow I assume
Yes. Also, that screen used to get crazy dirty for me. Even after a single session. I think the mesh was too fine.

The capsules work great and I find they keep the vape really clean.

Finally got to use my new AE tonight. Had a few issues with my batteries not charging from dead using the device. All good now.

Very impressed thus far. Flavour is excellent.

Current rotation is a volcano classic, og mighty and a dani fusion 2. This will fit in nicely.

Hmm... I've seen this sentiment both ways. I thought they stopped providing them because they weren't very good?

Also, I've said it before, but holy shit, gonna say it again, this thing punches above its weight.
Personally, I am not such a fan of the capsules. The make the oven even smaller, add extra cleaning, and... you have to fill them! But the vape itself is solid and delicious!

No, they're still providing them.

Agreed! Flavor is great.

All capsules make the oven smaller but the convenience is great for me when I'm out. Easy to hot swap, less smell and they keep the vape really clean. I don't mind cleaning capsules if I rarely have to clean the vape itself. I got so fast at filling them I even use them around the house now.
But the vape itself is solid and delicious!
Yup!

Yes, but the tip is sandblasted to work as WPA.

After using the AE for the last days, herenare my first thoughts:
  1. Really nice flavor with the right stem at lower temperatures
  2. Good extraction and avb is uniformly brown
  3. Don't expect big clouds everytime.
  4. Doesn't hit instant truck-like (TM2 as reference), it's more like slowly ramping up, but a really nice high.
  5. The plastic body feels cheapish for my taste. It has decent build quality, but the AVLP f.e. feels more premium thanks to adding some fabric and faux leather. Really thinking about a leather case.
  6. The airflow is o.k., but fully open it makes a 'hollow' sound. adds to the feeling of the plastic shell.
  7. The original stems are nice, the screens a good idea, but in reality they doesn't perform as nice mouthpiece.
  8. The bubbler has nice quality but it's not my favorite.
  9. The steam so far is the glas helix stem of the vaphit QOQ. Some red light from the rubies shines trough.
  10. The capsules are pricey and finicky to open/close, but work well and keep the oven clean - definitely something for a base kit.
  11. Heating time: OK, but its not really ready on the first ready buzz. Give it some additional time.
  12. Handling/UX: I hate 5 clicks. The two click option is the best solution for one-button setup, but it's still only OK in everyday use.
  13. OTG-factor: 3/5. Yes you can. But its bulky, heavy and eats batteries.
  14. Cleaning: with the capsules I think its relatively easy to clean. Those small screens for the original stems (and the stem holder) are really a small weak point.
Summing it up:
IHMO: this Vape is for the people who wanted a more soft flavorful vapor or share it. You can get really hammered (depending on your tolerance), but I think there are more suited vapes for the one-hit-truck experinence. If you want more of a joint-session feeling (except the form factor), this could be a thing, especially if you don't like the instant-bong-like high of other potent competitors. In other words: if the TM2 is too hard on your lungs and has too much airflow, try the AE with a nice stem.
All the gimmicks are fine, but as stated a nice base setup would be:
  1. Midsize Stem
  2. Capsule (or two)
  3. The filling cone
  4. The usual cleaning stuff
  5. The data-cable
The price (currently 219€) is OK. Especially the plastic body turns me off. But for the 190ish i got it with capsules and all the stuff they've thrown in it, I don't mind and think of buying a leather case/jacket as a necessary option for the first time. The wooden body on the OG was just better in the appearance category.

I tried the capsules today. They are awesome!
Already loved using capsules in the Volcano, same for the AE. The fact that they are made out of glass is really nice as well.

The battery life seems pretty fair, I heated 8 x 5 mins today (different temps from 180 to 200) and still have capacity left.

I usually have a very sophisticated tolerance, but I feel the AE makes me a lot higher than my other vapes (Volcano and Dani Fusion). 1-2 bowls with 0.15g get me really stoned. A friend of mine with pretty high tolerance has experienced the same yesterday.

Nice write-up! I agree that the AE functions best as a really flavorful, joint style session vape. It extracts well even at low temps and gives a great high.

Agreed. There's something to be said about preserving terpenes and the entourage effect. A 5 min capsule session gets me nice and lifted.

I am wondering how I can remove the bottom screen of the chamber in order to replace it?

Seems a little bit complicated or is there some kind of trick to it?

Never tried to do that but maybe on yllvape site? I did a quick search and found a youtube sesh of the dude from BingsBuddery repairing an AE. I think you need a torx screwdriver possibly to get at it. Any reason why you want to replace it? Mine stays really clean since I use the capsules.

Recomended vape supplies. Apparently don't fit. It was my intended stem of choice. The official Dynavap BB9 fits though.
The official BB9 fits and works great. It's become my travel mouthpiece in its own plastic tube along with my capsules in a tiny smell proof doob keychain cylinder. I've been carrying the AE naked with the stopper in it so everything is all compact and smell proof.

I'm living your (possible) future reality @RedZep so I can confirm it's viable.

If you like low temperatures, the cable is almost mandatory.
Yea, I've bitten the bullet and ordered one, together with a Reload and Jhook.

While the Bubbler isn't my favorite on the AE itself, I've used it with my convector head and a IH. Looks strange, but works really good.
