Picked up a Contoured Hollow Foot Sherlock Shredder from Texas Hot Glass recently and have been using it pretty much exclusively, in fact the other day when I cleaned my glass I dried all my other glass instead of refilling so there are only dry stems and this shredder in the rotation at the moment. The piece looks great, even nicer in person, and the contours even make the reclaim buildup look cool. I like rotating the piece as I try to look through it for the cool effect the contours create too. It’s also really easy to clean because of the jointed mouthpiece, when you take it out it’s really easy to hold the base piece securely AND cover both holes with your thumbs as you shake it violently. It’s not that the others are hard to clean but this one seems significantly easier because of this. One nice surprise with this piece was that it can stand freely while a Solo III is connected to the joint with a WPA; I really didn’t expect it to be able to do this but it does and it’s also very stable, up to a certain point if you were to tip the piece in the direction that it would fall if it could not support the weight of the Solo III then it will actually fall back into place instead of tipping over. At first I thought the size was a little big but quickly grew to prefer the long mouthpiece since it’s more comfortable to sit up straight and not lean forward when I’m hitting it while sitting on the couch.
I knew I would be happy with this because of how much I like my other THG piece but was surprised by how much more than expected I liked it. Vaping like a king with this!
