alternative (nichrome) heatingelement

hello!

i built a vaporizer myself at home and used a nichrome wire connected to coppercontacts as heating element.

do you guys see any harm in this construction?

wasnt able to find some real information, probably because my english isnt the best^^
im really looking forward to hearing from you guys!

Many used nichrome for coils for years but the more recent trend (in e-cigs and MJ coils) has been to kanthal. I use kanthal myself.

Your coil looks to be glowing evenly from what I can tell. I'm no expert and I build micro coils myself (small coils with wraps touching each other).

Up tech has been using grade 2 titanium wire on their kiss carts as resistance wire so I decided to order a roll of 24ga from amazon. I haven't had a chance to test it out but I'll be using it on my next rda build ... hopefully tomorrow if I can get around to it.
