Ok, this is going to sound weird but hear me out.

My other favorite indulgence is coffee and one day while sipping a cup of high grade columbian and puffing on some racy sweet skunk (yes it was from the grower in that photo!) through a PNWT I had an idea... what if I combined the coffee with the vapor?

The idea of mixing coffee and cannabis is nothing new. Trichome in Seattle has a "Cascadia Speedball" which is coffee with a pad of infused butter melted into it and a "Magic Macchiato" made with a kief infused espresso. Maybe it has something to do with those of us in the northwest enjoying both so much!

Anyways it turns out vaping through coffee actually allows notes from the coffee to mix with flavors from the vapor in very interesting ways. I just had a "coffee cake" with a spicy cherry African land race sativa pulled through a Costa Rican coffee with a distinct orange note in a Cake rig. Quite nice. I bet a dab through coffee would be even better as there would be more flavor from the cannabis. The only oil I have right now is a heavy indica so maybe I'll make a decaf coffee cake before bed.

The other thing I should mention is I'm using paper filtered coffee with no visible particles. I would imagine that using metal filtered coffee (such as a french press) is going to lead to issues due to the "dirt" that finds its way through metal filters.

Has anyone else experimented with fluids other than water? Curious to hear what others think of this crazy idea.

I'm in Minnesota so we sometimes vape thru anti-freeze in winter J/K

On a serious note, I like the concept. I might even experiment although I prefer high grade Kenyan tea, not coffee.
Someone once posted, asking about drinking bong water which is a big no for me. I did try sipping some bubbler water that I had vaped Super Lemon Haze and it was actually "ok"--had a lemony taste like watered down Sprite. Vapor flavored the water so water/tea may flavor the vapor.

I might try vaping SLH thru my Kenyan Milima black tea in the bubbler.... and also try sipping the tea as it would likely have that super Super Lemon Haze lemony edge to it. Recycling at it's best?? Let no THC/CBD go to waste??

For me, vaping is kind of a Japanese tea ritual/ceremony experience anyhow so just add a tea ritual to the vape ritual, if that makes sense.
A match made in heaven??? Or at least made at 6000+ feet as the the Kenyan tea, like my CO SLH, is mountain grown

Check around the hookah boards. Lots of suggestions there, I found coconut water suggested on one of them a few years back.

I actually took a small sip of the coffee after vaping a couple bowls through it. Not as bad as I expected. I swear I tasted some cherry notes from the vapor even. It wasn't great and I don't plan on drinking bong coffee on a regular basis but I'll certainly try a sip again from time to time.

this threads cracking me up. When we were kids we bonged through basically everything. fizzy drinks, tea, fucking milk FFS (honestly worst thing ever). I seem to remember fizzy water being the best we found but I haven't tried anything other than water in years. If I'm stoned enough one day and drinking a cup of coffe I might give it a go lol

As a kid we would use slurpees. I dont remember much about flavor but it chilled it down and until it melted it had low diffusion.

I once told a friend he would get really high if he drank bong water. We had a two litter half way with water we used with a grav cap and left it in the woods, lol. He drank it, lol.
