This may be a very dumb question I’m not talking about drinking while using weed. I’m trying to be responsible and I don’t want to start mixing alcohol with marijuana. I know it can impact you if your drinking it. But say if I have penne vodka or a white wine sauce can that alter my high later in the night when I toke? To my understanding not all all the alcohol is cooked off only about 40% of it. I’m enjoying my weed a lot now and actually prefer to me high all night and day. My health has been better that way. I was wondering if foods cooked with vodka wine etc or beer battered can give change the high. The only thing the doctor went over is don’t drink and ingest pot in any way together. I had a horrible experience with using blood pressure medication/blood thinners making my highs far worse then they should be I literally would black out while walking.

Mixing it with the blood pressure medication probably lowered your blood pressure too much since after a possible initial spike, cannabis tends to lower blood pressure a bit.

I can’t make a recommendation for you specifically since I’m not your doctor and I don’t know all the details of your conditions, cannabis/alcohol interactions, etc. but I can say that I’ve seen plenty of people use them simultaneously and heavily with no apparent problem.

Personally, if I drank alcohol, I don’t think I’d mix them to a significant degree, but I would be very surprised if the alcohol used in a dish like that caused any problems.

If you’re worried but you really want to eat it, you could always go easy on the vape for a couple of hours before and after eating it.

Won’t even let it bother me then. Just wasn’t sure and didn’t want to get a surprise. My anxiety is bad enough.

Generally foods that have alcohol in them, the alcohol gets cooked out of the food with the heat. Only the flavor is left.

If you decide to drink alcohol with weed make sure you don’t drive anywhere. If a person is new to weed - a little weed goes a long way.

Thanks man. I thought someone had said to me only like 65% of the alcohol is burned off unless it’s cooked for 20+ minutes.

Anyways though trying some blackberry kush tonight. First time having something 20%+ thc. Might even try cookies and creams and kong when they get them back.
