Why thank you for posting this. I was hoping for a sale so I could satisfy VAS and complete my collection

The Mighty is amazing! The Airvape, well I have been using it more and more now. I have gotten the hang of it. The flavor is amazing. Honestly, better than the Mighty. However, the Mighty is easier to use and just works, and works well all the time.I can't believe Troy is still praising the Mighty though....IMO the airvape pro blows it away,
I agree with you. The Mighty is easier to use but the AVP has amazing flavor. It does take a while, to extract on the first bowl in on demand mode but I guess that’s a common thing with convection vaporizers.I have an still own a Mighty for 5 years, just bought a Legacy Pro. For me the Mighty is a bit better especially for the ease of use.
I would still suggest going and (try) buy one You will have a one-time upgrading opportunity!!Note that this is the previous model, the OG Legacy, NOT the Legacy Pro.
What do you use instead?I'm likely selling my Pro. I like it well enough, but I really haven't been using it in lieu of my other vapes. Has anyone had good luck on the classifieds here? The FrientExchange on Reditt has been poop.
Thanks. I have various DynaVap stuff, a Solo OG and my favorite OWW OHV brick. What do you use instead?
Yes the classifieds here is good. Ive made some purchases
I Have to agree, I just deep cleaned mines after 2 weeks “also spot cleaned during this time“ and just couldn’t really get any thing to enter air path gaskets from the top. But found that I was able to fit a thin que tip in the glass gaskets, some one recommended GUM brushes. Mentioning that they could clean every thing now with it.Did a deep cleaning today. Used some everclear to wipe everything down. I did encounter a bit of annoyance.
The bulk of the airpath from the oven to the mouthpiece is a glass tube inside the device which is easy to clean, but, there are two small sections where the vapor goes through plastic and some kind of rubber/silicon gasket. As far as I can tell, the rubber/silicon parts aren't removable, and due to the way the channel turns at a near right-angle, there's no good way to completely clean inside those passages. I ended up shoving a small q-tip in there from different angles to clean it out as best I could, but I'm sure it's still dirty in there (I can smell it).
Since those channels are part of the body of the device, I can't take it out to soak it in ethanol or anything like that. It would be nice if the entire airpath was removable for proper perfect cleaning. For me, a "perfect" device is going to have as close to an all-glass airpath as possible, and the entire airpath should be easily removable/cleanable/soakable. You can't do that with an ALP.
Anyway, maybe that's an upgrade for a future airvape.
As for today's session...
I cleaned the ALP up because I got my hands on some absolutely gorgeous fresh Black Jack. Taking a cue from someone above in the thread, I filled the bowl about 2/3rd of the way with a light tamp, then placed the concentrate pad on top of the flower. It sat roughly flush with the edge of the bowl of the oven, so I shut the door and turned on on-demand at 335F. Sativas really do love those lower temps. The taste was great and the impact was high. When I finally stopped getting vapor (it took a surprisingly long time), I opened it up and carefully pried the concentrate puck out with the little metal lid tool and dropped it on the table (it's hot, don't touch it). The flower came out more or less like a puck and the chamber and dosing cap was clean. I was so happy with it that I did it twice.
I really do love this vape, quirks and all. It hits like a truck and I enjoy the little ritual of loading and using it. I've been leaving the device in on-demand. I feel like I get a lot more control over things that way and the device stays a LOT cooler and comfortable to hold/pocket. I doubt I'll go back to session mode again.
I was Amazed when I 1st read of this happening a cpl weeks ago to someone. After looking closer, its designed to be removed, duh. Why, No Clue. It is very easy to move that pin with a needle placed in the lil hole.Is no one else's door falling off all the time? I don't know if maybe I have a defective pin or hinge holes, or what. Any time I open it, unless I'm very careful, I can count on the door coming off. Also, hey, I already lost that tiniest screen. Luckily, I had another. It'd be nice if you could buy a little baggie of fifty of those for a few dollars.
Yeah im checking their site every day for the capsules , can't waitI find you can get a decent amount of clouds (not superclouds) and extend the flavor using a mid hand grinded herb. you need to stir, but if you are in a comfortable spot to do it i recommend it. To finish the bowl and get a very even abv you need to grind it again (something similar to use non grinded herb on a dynavap).
Im loving this device.
im impacient to try the capsules and the new microdose disk.
Yeah I noticed that at lower temperatures the taste is really good, but the clouds aren’t huge. I don’t mind because I usually go for flavor first, then go up in temperatures.Hi !
I use mine very often and am satisfied with it !
My prefered way yet is to go for a whole little nug in the chamber… loosely broken… i bet it's been already said in this thread
In On demand mode, i go from 160 up to 200° C with 2 or 3 draws on each step... No "massive" but great vapor !
BTW cleaning is way easier !
Enjoy !
I don't recommend traditional pressed hash, unless you're slicing it up very fine. The convection airflow want a lot of surface area which you're not getting with large pieces of pressed hash. It does a fantastic job with unpressed hash and kief! Edit: and rosin for that matter. Anything full melt is good to goI posted this somewhere else (can't find it), but I'll ask my standard question here too. (Haven't looked through all 29 pages.)
Does the Legacy Pro handle traditional pressed hash well?
They are both pretty similar and neither look like they'd digest Lebanese Blond very well. I was going to try cotton floss/chopped hash bundles this weekend but the dispensary bungled things up and gave me a big old moon rock instead of my gram chunk of hashish. Opps. What about the Firefly 2+ for traditional hash? Trying to decide between the two.
Or another portable that vapes hash well. A few have suggested the Mighty but it doesn't have an on-demand feature.
I definitely wouldn't get a Mighty for vaping hash, max temp is only 410f.....legacy pro is a lot hotter....What about the Firefly 2+ for traditional hash? Trying to decide between the two.

This is getting OT I know, but honestly just skip all these if pressed hash is your primary use. Get a vapman! What about the Firefly 2+ for traditional hash? Trying to decide between the two.

Well Did you order it?about to order one of these…I don’t need yet another portable, but the VAS + Gary’s FCKB30 coupon are making it hard to resist…lol
