If Mighty/Crafty is 10/10 (it was so gentle) on your throats health, then what would you rate Solo/Air?

Cuz Im considering which to buy, only tried Mighty so far.

Personally, I don't find the vapor from my Solo to be very harsh on the throat, even at the higher temps. Some people are more sensitive than others however, and find they need to use a bubbler with the higher temps.

If you're used to smoking, the Solo will be way easier on the throat. Any vaporizer will, really.

I've never tried Mighty or Crafty so I can't compare it to them.

The mighty was amazzzing, looked like a high-tech gadget that fell off the starship enterprise.

I wont smoke the air often, but I want reasons to get the mighty, i.e. if the mighty creates 0.1 dmg points, while air is 0.4 dmg and joints are 1.9 dmg.

If the mighty is 0.1 dmg then vaping it through a water pipe must be a 0. Vaping through water will soften the vapour considerably, though it does cause some flavour loss. I personally cannot use dry vapour anymore without coughing.

I absolutely love my Mighty as it produces some very nice vapour easily on par with a Herbalizer. That's saying a lot for a portable vape.

Dmg pnts meant lower = better = less tissue damage.

I bought the Mighty; I pick it up on Monday. $300 extra is no big deal when investing in a vape. The difference for me was trying it first, it was such an impressive experience.

I have the Arizer Air and a couple Solos. I've read through the Mighty and the Crafty thread. I would be more inclined to buy the Mighty because of the battery. I have no use to use my cell phone to regulate my vaporizer.

I've been so tempted to buy the Mighty but then I look and find that there are faulty units and the customer service isn't up to par. I read through the thread off and on over the couple years since the Mighty was released. I haven't read through the whole thread but probably 30 - 40 pages or so. You are buying the S&B name with that price tag. I was hoping at this point things would have improved.

I haven't had any problems with my Solo or my Air. They are a sturdy well made product that doesn't require s lot of maintenance. I love an all glass air path. Love wood too.

The Air has good flavor on the lower temps, no throat issues with either the Solo or the Air. I love the Solo and use it more. The taste is great with several temps to rely on - 7 temps you really wouldn't use the first temp. The temp 3 would be a good heat level for someone with throat issue if they were using the Solo.

The Solo battery is still giving me an hour of use. When I need a new battery I will go with the one from @CentiZen. I expect my Arizer products to last a long time. The AA has a lifetime warranty on the heater.

Happy Saturday friends I'm using my nano right now with some Critical Kush. It's awesome.

If I were to buy a Mighty I would go through Randy at Puffitup. I don't know if that's who takes care of returns but I'd rather deal with Randy than S&B. Randy usually takes care of the returns himself through Puffitup.

Edit
Both the Solo and the Air hook up to a water tool really well. If you have throat issues the water is the way to go.

Yeah the faulty units scared me too, but its not life or death if it happens. And most likely if you use it right your gonna have this unit for a long time.

Its worth every penny, and risk of a defective unit, to have the Porsche of vapes, that seals it for me.

I have heard folks that absolutely love the Mighty and folks that have moved on from it. I have heard folks that crank it up too high and get some lung burning issues. So be careful and take care of yourself. The best of luck to you.

the price and reports of failure scared me for a while but it seems that failures have become more isolated and are more typical on heavily used mightys. at that point, any battery would need replacing.

As for the price, it is a bullet to bite but once you have the mighty in your hands it will blow your mind with how good it is. It rivals my nano in alot of ways.

btw just bought a haze v3 on 420 sale from my tax return, im excited to get it in!

Just to directly answer the q, my mighty usage gives me throat irritation. Probably because of the more concentrated vapor, but the solo barely leaves any irritation at 190celcius.

But starting at low temps and going up after (temp stepping) makes high temps smoother in both.

spoutti, this is a Mighty® appreciation thread as I have now purchased it.

Please cease with your clearly biased opinions or else you will leave me no choice but to drive the 401 all the way to quebec, find you, and roundhouse your ass.
