Hey Jhan, any chance you'll be doing a smaller version of the Matrix?
I tried to buy one once on your recommendation.I think it is, Jhan manufactures for a lot of area head shops under AEON,
HUH? brother get on line and even here you can start a conversation with the man, he's on and he also has an IOFFER store where you can pick what ever unit you desire here. From there bro, its either on a plane or on an 18 wheeler coming to you.He is very responsive to any sale action or questions you may have, the man has sold quite a bit here on FC and also gives us a 10% discount of any piece of 100 dollars or more,Colie as well offers a 20% discount also, so with those 2 artists, you shouldnt have a problem .I know of a poster Richie who also will vouch for Jhans work.,if not him ,im sure others will chime in PLEASE give Colie a shout as he is as good an artist and also treats his customers very wel,l wish I could personally help you brother,TRUST ME drop a note on over to Jhan, guarantee you will be able to get what you want/need.Hope this helps AtaxianI tried to buy one once on your recommendation.

matrix bubb
Any chance we can have these made with a detachable mouthpiece?
just spoke with a distributor looking to design a new line of bubbs possibly w. removable MPs we hashed out 8 styles so far so yes it is very possibleDITTO!
Some kind of fire polishing I imagine would be the answer, if you could make a budget DG that would be epic!FRIT sourcing ( still haven't been able to find a supplier who can make the disc w/o flaking - i wont make tubes that leak frit dust - too dangerous )
yea we tried that - colie hooked me up w. some discs but when we firepolished it all the holes closed up .Some kind of fire polishing I imagine would be the answer, if you could make a budget DG that would be epic!
Ever try making your own "frit" discs? Not lab-grade with dust, etc, but a similar product, made from crushed scrap glass, sieved to remove everything above and below whatever experimentation determines to be optimum particle sizes, and fused by gentle pressing in a pre-heated steel die (or whatever other method)?yea we tried that - colie hooked me up w. some discs but when we firepolished it all the holes closed up .
But then look at this: http://www.ioffer.com/i/12-96-hole-hd-honeycomb-disc-perc-water-pipe-stackage-528847188
I can just see the cloud making that thing look like a milk bottle. Sickness...
yes i did think about it , but we need to get a mold and slump the glass in the kiln, so spending the cash on enough molds to make a kiln run worthwhile didnt make sense.Ever try making your own "frit" discs? You'd get "big bore" frit channels then, for easier draw (and slower clogging), but still hundreds to thousands of them per disc, for loads of bubbles, plus no need to worry about dust.
It also opens up possibilities for further cool stuff. For example, if you kept a pallate of multiple colours (or even grades) of grit, you could draw pictures or write in the frit. Use a layer of larger grade pieces on top and do a mosaic pattern. Fill holes and cutout sections in pre-cut discs with grit and fuse it into "frit" inserts. Lots of stuff.
