I agree. Get your supply ground up before it gets so dry that it turns to powder when you grind, but don't try to rehydrate it.adds nothing to either the high or the taste let alone the fact that you could be setting yourself up to be getting mold.
Although I agree with lwien that dried out herb loses some taste, a harsher hit when moist is also a possibility, which is the reason for the moisture condenser in the iolite. All things considered, I don't dry mine any more than is necessary for easy grinding.I find it when its wetter its a harsher hotter hit due to the water vapor.
I usually find that it only requires one hit, and that's often where you get the best taste, so I wouldn't classify it as unsatisfying.a few unsatisfying hits to dry it out
I prefer to vape bud that has been well cured, but not purposely dried out prior to vaping.
Regarding adding moisture to your herb, yes, you will get more vapor, but that additional vapor is just water vapor...........steam, and adds nothing to either the high or the taste

It's not worth it to me, just for a brief taste improvement, but as long as you don't overdo it.... You can definitely ruin your herb with mold by adding too much back.but why not rehydrate slightly ???

If we could add misture to our herb before vaping it, then our herb will have more vapor to give back...
I only consume cured ganja.
if it has any moisture at all when procured then it will be dried fully and then cured
If the stems dont snap it has to much moisture to cure and mold may develop
Plus if you buy wet weed, where the stems are pliable you are buying water
1ml of water weighs 1 gram
I concure
I am not sure i fully agree about the flavor part. With certain strains i notice that if it is RE-moistened AFTER it has been cured, by adding a wet q tip or something it can enhance the flavor
It seems as if the minute water droplets in the vapor lend more ability to the flavor lingering and attaching to the tongue/palate
I agree that weed that is too dry is not fun, but why not rehydrate slightly ???
especially after stating
Turn temp setting up?
If your medicine is too moist, dry it out. vapor is actually an oil aerosol of sorts, if you are not getting vapor, it may be the quality of your meds?
Dry it out, with your vape or any other way, but dry it you will. If it still doesn't vape properly when dry, try looking at your medicine under magnification. The trichs, or lack thereof, should be a big clue. If your medicine is good and no vapor, then it must be your equipment.
