Sad to admit, that this thread became relevant for me. It started two weeks ago. I have a lot of health issues (consequently I eat very healthy), but this is actually the first time in my life I've had reflux that strong and that long. First I thought it was a cake, than my breathing, than I suggested some bacteria or else responsible for an inflammation or something like that. Probably a combination of many factors. Now I'm starting to see, that it also has something to do with the tiny bong / big bubbler I've bought two and a half weeks ago. I haven't used a bong or anything with a carb hole (we call it kick) for many many many years (with combustion back then), until a very vaping-intensive weekend recently. Due to the reflux I couldn't even use my normal mouthpiece with my Vapman as I used to anymore, which is why I took a short but unintended vape-break. I ate differently (much less) and took Pantoprazol a few days. I did some exercise to relax my diaphragm which brought me to this insight: It seems like I was always drawing the vapor directly down-to-lung which wasn't good for my diaphragm. I've tried to change that completely to mouth-to-lung last night and it seems to have not that much negative consequences as DTL. I have to concentrate really hard to stick to MTL and I think I look like I'm cartoonishly mimicking Sherlock Holmes as I am sipping on my pipe
Edit: I forgot to mention my main treatment which is basically limestone minerals (in my case drinking so called healing clay which is loess and therefore mostly silt not clay). This buffers the acidity.
