ABV. Worth your effort?

Do you use your ABV?

Eat ABV with some peanut butter. Use whole milk to drink after. I've used ABV in a milkshake with peanut butter too. Need to have fat with the ABV.
What ratio ABV/peanutbutter? And how much per serving did you use? Thanks.

It's not the cheap stuff, it's the stuff without the added hydrogenated (trans) fats and sugar/hfcs that separates. It doesn't matter if it's organic or just "all-natural", if it's just ground peanuts and a bit of salt (the way it should be imo) it will separate at room temperature. I usually store the jar upside-down before I open it, which helps for mixing before refrigeration. One great way to eliminate this (and integrate your abv) is to spoon it out into a mixer and blend it, I usually make a batch of cookies when I open a jar so I don't dirty the mixer up just to blend my peanut butter. You could easily integrate your abv into it at this point.
That settles that, lol. Thank you.

Yup. But it's the organic and the all natural's that are more expensive.

"Go cheaper, it separates." just doesn't make any sense to me when the exact opposite is what I've experienced.

That's a great tip. I have no idea why I never thought about that. I always just stuck a fork in it and stirred which is kinda akin to stirring cement. :\

All natural and organic don't always translates into expensive. Maybe in chain stores and larger cities where they can charge more for extra words on a label. Here in rural PA, and other rural areas of other states I've lived in, you still have privately owned or very small chain stores that carry some local and odd brands. They maybe all natural, I never knew that natural separated and was the others that didn't , but at a few bucks less a jar than name brand...yeah that's cheap.

The whole point of hydrogenating oils is to solidify and preserve them, think crisco shortening. The third option seems to be certain "all-natural, no-stir" varieties, which use tropical oils like coconut and palm oil because these will stay solid at room temperature without hydrogenation; some of these oils also naturally take a long time to spoil. These are also usually the ones that have real cane or beet (gmo) sugar as opposed to (subsidized/unhealthy) hfcs, and these upgraded ingredients are always more expensive.

That's brilliant. I had not thought of that!

It doesn't matter. You crush it up, put it in a paper towel, run it under some warm water, and you stick it right up your ass. That works!

Surprised so many people save this stuff. Just pulled out a jar and filled it with last sessions ABV... gonna have to try some of these things. What can be made without much of "the taste" I have a hard time getting down that herbal taste , but Ive had edibles that didn't have a hint of it. Whats the secret for "clean" abc edibles?

I was going to try the hot chocolate or was going to heat it into peanut butter. Then I vaped and now I'm scared to. Not scared of the effects, but of putting something nasty in my mouth. I learned my lesson with that bitter apple spray for dogs.

Made a mr coffee 5cup pot & added 1 1/4 tblspoon saved, ground Herbalizer duff. Also added soy lecithin granules before "brewing" ... Just experimenting ... Not a bad taste - recognizable flavor, but not overwhelmingly so ... Been about 25 mins, will let u know later ...

About 11:20 - no noticed affect ...

i vape high, so if i put a small amount on a cracker or similar its a waste of time and taste buds (rather smoke it than eat it)...what i do is nearly fry the abv (293-299 F) for about 5 mins in coconut oil, let it set (cool down) then strain and add more abv (plus a dash of new oil to cover) and repeat for about 2 cycles to saturate the oil (dark dark). end result usually has an overwhelming effect.
