thanks for starting this thread OP. I've thought about giving my dog some abv because i assumed like a lot of ppl that it would be safe for dogs and pretty much most mammals. thankfully i've never wanted to waste abv lol

Given all the variables,i highly recommend just NOT giving your pets ABV at all.

Mason jar is what I use to store mine. And then I put it in a drawer.I normally wouldn't bump a thread this old but this is not a normal occasion.
Somehow my little puppy got in to some ABV. I have no idea how this happened as I have had all of my ABV in a mason jar and use other containers pretty much because of this thread. She has just been taken to the vet but I am beside myself. If she got into anything she only got crumbs but still she just wouldn't move or drink or anything. I thought I was being careful but I guess I was not careful enough.
Oh..... been here, done this! I'm so sorry. It's so scary. But, my little guy was fine after a grueling 8 hours or so (and some vomiting). I'd say he probably ingested a good joints worth and he weighed about 24 pounds at the time.I normally wouldn't bump a thread this old but this is not a normal occasion.
