Hello FC, this is my first post! I got my first vaporizer about a month ago, the magic flight launch box. Once i heard about cooking with ABV material, i realized how much this investment was going to payoff.
I had a rough time deciding what to do with my first batch of abv material (About 2.5g at the time), it was a light to medium shade of brown and it was put through my grinder up-side-down multiple times until it was a powder.
There were not many appealing guides for a single-serving dose, so I decided to experiment with that 2.5g of ABV powder and a little 100 proof vodka.
I took 2.5 shots of vodka and let it sit in a small mason jar with the ABV for about an hour. After that, I dumped the entire contents of the mason jar into my cheapest stove pot and slowly heated it from lo to medium very, very slowly over the course of a half hour or so, and I had the fan over my stove on high to help with the vapors.
After I let it cool a little, I poured it through a cheese cloth. After squeezing every last drop out of that cheese cloth, I filtered it through a coffee filter. I put what I have left into a tiny mason jar, and have about a shot and a half worth of ABV Vodka sitting in my closet.
Now Im not real sure if I want to even take this at all- Its a very dark brown and I have very little experience with edibles (If you consider this one). So, does anyone have any input/ideas/advice for me on this one?
