About an Illadelph spoon

even though i love vaping, and primarly vape, i do like to combust every once in a while, and i love pipes over bongs. i still need to find a stainless steel protopipe for my collection also. but those too are impossible to track down, i havent even seen a stainless proto for years of looking online, the brass ones are hard enough to find.

i'm pretty sure i saw a proto in one of the local head shops i was in this week

now if i could only get my hands on that jack herer pipe. now that is a real work of art. something about wood. but noplace has any avaliable online...

i was able to find a knockoff stainless proto. but i dont know if i would settle for a knockoff. i like the syplicity, and complete functionality of the proto, as they say, the swiss army knife of pipes.

was it just because the pipe was made of brass that it was so harsh iwien or was it the design of the pipe itself that contributed to this?

one other nostalgia pipe ive been eyin is the celibration pipes. made with lavarock and gold plated bowl

now if only they made a vape that would work with pipes... one can only dream

i guess i didnt really look that hard, upon looking a little deeper i was able to find alot of places that still carry the protopipe. i have been hunting more for the jack herer for the time being.

About a year ago, I was gonna buy that JH pipe online. Can't remember where I saw it. That and that Illy glass spoon would make a nice couple.

Well I can vouch for brass being s smoother as SS; to anyone who likes the protopipe, check out the piece-pipe! (Also comes in SS)

Now if that wood pipe you posted is the Jack Herer pipe, I have definitely seen it for sale online...can't remember where though...

They are currently out of stock, probably because its Xmas & they were offering a great deal on it. There are two versions and I'm getting one as soon as they restock.

I recently purchased a dug out & a glass cigarette bat from them. Good vendors - quick shippers.

They also carry the Proto Pipe - I've had mine for 20 years and had NO idea there was a stainless steel version ... would LOVE to get my hands on one. Would also like to get an Illadelph spoon, but like everyone else, have had a hard time finding one online.

I'm primarily a vaporist, but I do enjoy combusting once in a while.

thats the problem, is every place i have found the jack herers online are all out of stock... i found a few more websites that had the same, would have it in stock, and as soon as i got the money and could order it, it would become out of stock... its like this pipes eluding me! maybe i will get lucky after i get home from christmas vacation.

Those Illadelph spoons are pretty tempting. Now I have heard of the screen holes getting clogged but I think it was a case of them not cleaning it like they should. IMO nice glass needs to be cleaned for each session, that's the only way to truly honor a fine piece. I've got an Illadelph bong and ashcatcher which I love. Those US Tubes are rad! It's too bad I didn't know about them when I got my Illy.

i remembered where i seen the stainless proto, but its not stainless it was a chrome finish on the brass. but even still, i cant find any information or links to it, i did find the number to the protopipe shop so maybe ill give them a call tomorrow and see.

the page looks to be a rollies affiliate, which ive heard bad things about rollies, i ordered there a while back and it took forever to get the order, took a friend of mine half a year to get his stuff. but i cant tell if this is a true protopipe or a knockoff. it is the chrome

ive called the 3'd eye shop, as that was the first place i seen the herer pipe... if only i knew what i was looking at when i seen it. but they wont ship out of state. so if anybody is making a trip to portland and wouldnt mind stopping by the 3'd eye for me, email me and let me know what your times worth.

i know, this pipe has been eluding me i swear. every place i have found with it available online, as soon as i got the money, it was out of stock the next day. i just might have to go back out to portland again this summer. it was beautiful out there i thought.

Wow! dude call that number again! I just called and this lady told me that they are going back into production and that they would be willing to ship!

i think mark was the one i talked to before, and he told me they couldnt ship it. even though the lady at the front desk said they might. so if they have changed this policy then im on board!

I didn't have a very long conversation with her, but to me it sounded like they maybe stopped making them for awhile and are now starting to make them again. I think there's a very real chance that they will ship them

that could very well be, as jack has been sick and all the legal troubles that have fallowed. i really hope they will ship them. ive been wanting one of these bad boys for a long time. then im going to sit down and do a apples to apples compairison to my illadelph spoon to decide which is truly the better smoke. i figure if i vape 99% of the time, the 1% i do combust is still healthier then just combusting.

Jack just died.

Frickr, I've been also thinking about getting either the Jack pipe or the Illy spoon also. If you do try them both out, please post up a comparison review. Would really like to see it.

i'm away from my digi at the moment
but i will snap some more pics for ya tomarrow..
it is about a half an inch longer then a bic lighter
and about just as thick.
the bowl is the exact same as the spoon only smaller.
a few months ago. i was at my local shop and i was telling the owner about my spoon
i stopped in yesterday and was suprised to
see illadelph spoons and bats in the case
