A Vaporizer "Enlightenment"?

I've been looking at some online retailers (fueled by VAS and the want for acce$$ories) and have noticed that some retailers list their # in stock and have a lot of vapes in supply.. Is there a projected surge in sales for vapes? Or is my reasoning off and there is a greater supply than demand, leaving vapes as a niche item?

What are the thoughts of some other members as we begin 2016?

Nobody here has anything but a wild ass guess for either question. You may as well ask what the stock market's going to do next week. People will continue to buy vapes and they'll continue to grow in popularity, because the benefits for your health and wallet (as far as stretching your supply) will always be there. The rate of growth for vaping is anyone's guess.

I wish I knew what it's going to do between now and 4. (As our broker says, "up, down, or sideways...one of those." :p)

As to OPs q, I suspect some retailers are banking on sales increasing, driven by things like NY state rolling out more mmj dispensaries and distribution, and possibly some states legalizing recreational use. He said with crossed fingers... :uhoh:

Lots of folks are banking on federal legalization, hell my red states actually having a cannabis industry conference this weekend. First of its kind around here..

With legalization, and federal medicinal new vaporists will emerge and sales should boom.

NY has legalized medicinal eadibles. No products for a vape in that state.

Interesting. I read a whole article on the dispensary biz in NY this morning that failed to mention this. Had to find it on the NORML site. Amazes me how lame and restrictive both NJ and NY are, MMJ-wise. Make fun of our governor here in ME all you want (and you should, he's an abomination), but our mj laws and overall philosophy are seriously liberal, and, hopefully, about to get more so.

So maybe the answer to the original question is "just some weird inventory management quirk."

imho it gets down to how soon PayPal (and banks) will accept payment for cannabis vapes ... that will be my go signal.

NY allows vaping of concentrates for the MMJ program. It's disengenious to say there are no products to vape in NY as the implementation of the program specifically allows vapeable product, it just doesn't allow dry herb as the program doesn't allow smoking. Medibles and vapeables(in the form of concentrates) are explicitly allowed.

Keep your eye on California's legal rec legislation in November. As California goes, so goes the nation. Herb vaporizers are already popular among the cognescenti, but vape pens are the most conspicuous. States like Oregon and Washington, where smoking in public is banned, have yet to come to terms with the perception of herb vapes as an ambient health hazard
