A few questions about the SSV

Hey guys, I've been looking around here for a while and finally decided to post! So i have 2 questions regarding the SSV. I've had my SSV for about 2.5 months now and I use it pretty much everyday. My only problem is that my screen is loose in my wand and this causes some of the bud to get in my mouth. Not on every hit, but pretty often i end up with one little bud in my mouth. Does anyone know of a solution to this? are there bigger screens i should get?

Also I'm thiking about getting the aroma top. Just wanted to know what you guys think about it. I think I've read somewhere that they crack easily, but I wanted to double check.

1/Possible mod to reduce particulates on the last post of this page:

And the screen can be improved in the whand (it's sometimes not wide enough and moves/it has quite big holes if you ask me!). At the beginning I used to put 2 screens one on top of the other: thiner holes!

2/Yes the aroma top has bad record. On the DBV you could use any glass plate but with the angle of the SSV it's more complicated... Sorry no solution. I love aromatherapy and I use this home on my lightbulbs, works great doe!

i have the aroma top and have no issues and i am considering the first mod that FL mentioned and linked to.

also while dealing with the screen issue i find that if i push the screen onto my finger and make a dome then sorta bend the screen in half (not enough to crease it though) and slid it in the wand then use a poker to make the dome point toward the heating element that makes them seal a little better.

Sweet thats so awesome info. Are those screens that go on the mouth piece specifically dome shaped? or could i take a screen I already have and do that?

those screens arent something you can make easily and are cheap enough to buy with out the headache of trying to make stuff
