As for "The Establishment/Suits" discussing 'Herb' and other substances(such as Milk(?) still being considered Gateway Drugs this has been going on for over four decades. I'm surprised to still hear this "Crap" being given thought and airtime today. When Nixon was President he had the government disseminating this misinformation to put a scare into the Status Quo.....
I'm actually still amazed that in my lifetime it has been decriminalized in many States leading to Medical Marijuana usage laws and two States which have legalized recreational usage. I live in a State which just changed their Laws effective January 1st, 2014 allowing for Medical Marijuana.
Back in the 1960's with the Federal Govt. leading the charge many substances were made illegal. LSD was made illegal in October of 1966.....and by the way the "Summer of Love" took place in 1966 not 1967 as reported by the press. The DEA came into existence to fight a war against its own citizens. Young Americans could and in some States still can get more prison time for possession of small quantities of Herb over other types of felonies which of course are more dangerous.....
