I know what I want, I just don't know who makes it or where to get it:)

I am looking for a sub-$200 scientific bubbler, with removable mouthpiece stem, and a removable down stem. I realize really have fallen for the Sheldon Black Traveller series, but have been hesitant of his system of rubber bands because I will eventually loose or break all of the rubbers over time.

I would prefer the removable down stem and removable mouthpiece for cleaning and because it is a bit less conspicuous while traveling IMO.

I much prefer the ones that use the colored plastic locks to hold GonG together. I can buy those replacements at any local shop.

... I was also secretly hoping I would find something that fits the criteria at AquaLabTech- I don't need a name like "HeadyGlassShopForStoners" on my CC statement :o

Awesome! Those are all awesome suggestions, the M&M looks super attractive even with the permanent downstem.

It is kinda "Plain Jane" but the first one you linked has nice simplicity and would be unrecognizable as a bubbler when disassembled, but I like the Switchup feature of being able to decide where to put the mouth and downstem.

Of the ones you posted, I think the TKO line you linked to last might be the best fit for me. It has all the features I am looking for, and has the scientific look which has been growing on me. And they have a 14mm option that will be perfect for the Lotus.

Am I overthinking this too much? I still really like the Sheldon Traveller, I wish I did not dislike the rubber band attachment method so much...

Maybe you could have GBD make the piece how you want it? Price should start at 80.
