From a health perspective, I suspect flower vapes, or even low temperature vaping of concentrates in a banger or bucket type system would be a lot healthier. I'm still skeptical about the long term health effects of vaping using a device with a submerged heater that basically boils it away...

Used it twice today since I picked it up, and so far very impressed. Nice improvement over my FW7 :) Have a feeling this will get a lot of use. Also nice that my beaded step I have for my FW7 fit perfectly so was able to move that over (nice extra cooling with all the beads in the stem)

So the Firewood X has definitely caught my attention (especially that I'm using flower these days not concentrate). I do have some questions though .... There seems to be mention of a 1/2" bowl as well as the 3/8" bowl ... but don't see any mention of this on the Firewood site; so a little...

Still my go to vaporizer, but honestly, barely been vaping these days.

Gotta' say ... had this vape for quite a while, and it's become one of my daily drivers. Actually has me switched back primarily to flower vs concentrates right now.

Well, my perspective (since I ordered it with the glass pipe, but then it also came with the wooden one?), is it has nothing to do with the pipe or seal. Either I've got a defective device or cup or both, or this device is just incapable of heating the cup sufficiently to actually vaporize the...

I had a Proxy ... but sold it a little while ago.

This is still my favourite flower vape, so I am excited for anything they release in the future, but am waiting patiently, and hoping for the best.

Well, went ahead and ordered one of these and a spare cup :) (I went w/ the Twilight glass, but if I like the device, see adding other pipes in the future ... really hopeful this hits somewhat like a DTv5/Core2 w/ a Proxy form factor)

Sort of. It works as intended, but have been using my battery operated stuff most of the time lately since back and forth often between 2 locations. I think I still prefer the gemstone surface to the SiC though. And although it accurately reflects coil temp and transfers more quickly, still...
